Not a blunder at all. It’s an attempted take-down, Sopranos-style.

The Catholic Church has been a major thorn in the side of the World Secularist/Leftist movement for many, many years now. With their golden boy in power at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. they thought they had their shot to take out the roadblock once and for all.

Regardless of how the mandate plays out, the stage is set for a decades-long grudge match to the death between these two players.

Exactly right. It’s no blunder — it is a carefully calculated culmination of a decades-long effort by radical marxists and fellow travelers to destroy the family and replace religion and God with The State.

For decades, liberals have tried to foist off on us the proverbial “separation of church and state,” mainly when it comes to any form of religion (except perhaps, Islam) from making its way into ANY form of collective government at any level.

The contrary position of the Bill of Rights, in fact, is replete with “Government SHALL NOT....” meaning government should keep its damned nose out of religion and other sacred rights.

Obama and his zealots want to have their cake and eat it to. Let’s hope THEY fail and their government falls.

I wish the Catholic plaintiffs all GOD’s blessings in their quest to put this government back in its intended place.

Who does Obama think he is, Henry VIII? The Catholic Church has been battling despots for nearly two thousand years, even within their own ranks. None have succeeded.

It seems to me that, if a Catholic employer agrees with the tenets of the Church on the issue of life, then that employer should not be forced to provide abortion coverage on Freedom of Religion grounds any more than the Church itself. Should the Court agree that would be a tremendous kick in the cojones to the Obamites.

"... and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it."

Hmmm ...

Josef Stalin once asked how many Divisions the Pope had ... Another man who once went by the name "Josef" might have an answer for him.

Are you talking about the same Catholic Church that gave us Liberation Theology?

Dictator Clinton discovered the NRA has clout. Now Dictator Obama discovers the Catholic church has even more clout.
