His reticence? That’s his character. Add to that, his low profile is much more in keeping with overwhelming precidence of post-WH leaders, up until the recent morons who refuse to shut the hell up and step away from the stage. He’s served his time as President and now he’s retired. He doesn’t owe you, or anyone else, a damn thing more.

GWB is doing exactly what he should do - from both a point of dignity and strategy. He's retaining the dignity he displayed throughout his presidency by maintaining silence when it comes to criticizing the jerk inside the occupied office. He's also maintaining Napoleon's axium that one should “Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.”

GWB has not interupted anyone in the obama regime for over 3 years.

I disagree.. His 8 years in office were a disaster for Republicans, and conservatives.. His policies were ok, but he NEVER fought back against the blatant lies from the left and the media.... Ever

In other words, GW never stooped into the gutter with the left and it is HIS fault? History is already showing GW was a good President and now that "guilty whites" drank the koolaide and have a nasty hangover over obama, you can bet they do miss GW. GW's only real "disaster" was he was too "compassionate" and that roiled some of us. Other than that, I was better off four years ago than I am today; how about you?

clinton and carter are the only 2 presidents ever to refuse to retire

If you thought they are bad, just wait to the exalted one is thrown out of office. Messiahs never retire and this one will be a crap disturber for a very long time.

I expect him to go full radical starting the first Wednesday in November.

GW was a good President.

He could have been great if he listened more to Cheney and less to Rove.

You’re right!

Clinton and Carter make the strongest case for why former Presidents should be seen and not heard!

But, what can we expect from men of their character?

There is another approach..........ignore idiots which is the approach he took. It may take a little while but he will come out ok/

Really? How did that work out for him? Approval on the 30s? Almost universal hate? Most of the blame for the economy the past decade?

The masses are so dumb that they don't know better. They see someone constantly being blamed, he doesn't refute it, so most people think there's truth to it. Ignoring idiots doesn't work.. It gives us a lying KM for 4 years... And if the facts don't get corrected soon, make that 8. We suffered through 8 years of him not fighting back... When he wrote his book he had a great opportunity to set the record straight and chose instead to push his book

Don't know about you, but letting the masses figure stuff out on their own is a losing proposition.. And it gets us leaders like the Kenyan Marxist, Reid, Pelosi, and all of these other disgraceful leaders

Hey, we all had issues with GWB on spending, but I respect him staying out of the limelight. He’s probably living a great life with Laura. He was so vilified, and the strain of 9/11, two wars, and constant vile attacks from the left took their toll. Carter should have stuck to building houses. Clinton and Obama are narcissists. Clinton will never go away. When Obama leaves office, he will be in front of the crowds and the cameras as much as possible.
