The media is only trying to get Romney to bite on the birther story to ridicule him.
Romney should focus like a laser with a single quote every time the birther issue comes up in the media: "The only people who don't want to disclose the truth are people with something to hide." The President should just sign a full release of records authorization statement to the state of Hawaii, Occidental College, Columbia and Harvard and be done with it!
Then MOVE ON!! If the DNCers want to keep trolling just repeat the same line over and over and over!

Wolf talks in this piece about Hawaii saying Obama was born in Hawaii on this date..... but they DIDN’T. They did not verify that date, nor did they verify the gender, the city or island of birth, the mother’s name, or the father’s name. The only thing they verified was that they have a birth certificate for Obama. And their refusal to verify those “facts” is an indirect confirmation that Obama’s BC is legally non-valid. Here’s why:
By verifying the existence of a birth certificate and referencing HRS 338-14.3, this “verification of birth” is acknowledging this as a response to the FORM that Bennett submitted - since verification of the existence of a BC was not on Bennett’s non-form request but is required by HRS 338-14.3. It also acknowledges that Bennett is eligible to receive a verification and therefore HRS 338-14.3 REQUIRES them to verify the facts surrounding the birth. Verificaton of the existence of a BC is certification that a birth occurred. Verification of facts surrounding the birth is certification that those facts are legally true/valid, according to HRS 338-14.3.
To do a verification, the person applying has to furnish facts and then the HDOH verifies the ones that are legally correct. When Bennett filled out the form, he presumably supplied these facts:
Gender: male
Date of birth: Aug 4, 1961
City/Island of birth: Honolulu, HI/ Oahu
Mother’s Name: Stanley Ann (Dunham) Obama
Father’s Name: Barack Hussein Obama
Bennett responded to questions from TheCipher (a Freeper) by saying he DID ask for Obama’s date of birth. My theory had been that the HDOH didn’t respond to the above items because they forced Bennett to withdraw the request form. But Bennett says he didn’t withdraw it.
So their failure to respond means that they CANNOT verify those facts. That could only be because there are other facts claimed on his BC, OR the BC on which those facts are claimed is legally non-valid so they can’t certify anything from it as true.
They verified that the information on the BC Obama posted online “matches” what is on the original record, so their failure to verify those facts can’t be because something else is claimed on the BC. The only reason that’s left, then, is that the BC they have is legally non-valid.
I hope this isn’t too hard to follow.
If Obama’s BC is legally non-valid not only because it is amended but also because it is LATE (which is why they’d need to mess with the BC#’s like they have), then Obama has NEVER had a legally-valid BC from Hawaii. So every time he’s presented a BC in the past it’s been a BC from somewhere besides Hawaii. That’s why they have to keep all his records hidden.
Very soon this all has to break open.

Don’t hold your breath. Romney looks like he’s going to play mister nice and ignore that fact that this guy is fraud. Obama is looking like the first Emperor of the US.
Two questions, actually.
Does the Hawaiian official(s)' non-response indicate that he is unable or simply unwilling (because, e.g., of force majeure, as in a court or executive order forbidding his releasing the data, or perhaps an illegal order, as in extortion) to comply?
And second, assuming the BC has in fact been altered as to certain facts, and that those altered facts are on the originally-released COLB, then therefore do we rush to the conclusion that Trump's charge is correct, that Obama was actually born elsewhere, but his mother and grandparents resorted to an alien-friendly Hawaiian ruse used by many immigrants, to give Baby Bozo a 14th-Amendment-compliant citizenship by (falsely?) claiming birth on U.S. soil?
That's the way all clubby Republicans behave, who want to continue to be included in the Club's whirl of mutual admiration.
That's the whole point.
Romney was going to have a good press day, so all these press guys (whose headlines are quoted in the posts above) ran this little play, like a basketball pick-and-roll play, to screen out Romney's news, and replace it with something negative that ridicules Republicans.
So they approached Trump for an fakeout interview (as described by Rush in the article at the top), because Blitzer knew Trump had commented on the BC issue before, and would likely do so again, giving all Blitzer's press cronies the peg they were looking for to do negative "Republicans are Birthers are Droolers" stories -- which was their endpoint, their goal, from the very start.
They've probably been setting this up for two weeks.

The media has been threatened. That’s the story that’s been verified by Mike Zullo of the Cold Case Posse, but he can’t give details or names because the informants are scared - on of them to the point of leaving the country out of fear for her life. Others quitting their jobs out of fear.

And Corsi says that George W Bush got confirmation from the Kenyan government that Obama’s records there had been destroyed, so Bush also knew that Obama was not eligible. Speculation is that Bush feared race riots if his DOJ did anything about it, and I believe Stratfor claimed that was why McCain never challenged the election fraud and harassment. Having the election party in Chicago was kind of a way to bring out that threat, as was the “Recreate ‘68” community organizing at the DNC Convention in Denver. There could have been more involved with it too, but suffice to say that Bush was too scared to pursue the issue.

Trump could have dropped a bomb on Wolfy about Arpaio's ongoing Obama investigation and his March press conference which would have gotten Wolf Blitzzzzeer mumbling and stumbling since the whole US media is desperately trying to hide it.

Corsi knows the facts, like you, that Hawaii did a non-verification verification. He could brief Trump but I think that may all come out in the June press (Trump should be watching) briefing that the whole US media corps are desperately hoping won't happen LoL.
