Palin did lead me to more strongly support McCain but I was wrong in thinking that way.”
IMO if you think that Palin would have been your normal VP, you obviously never paid much attention to her. Other VP’s not mattering much - yes. Her - no! McCain totally under estimated her ability to get things accomplished.

Disagree. She’d have been loyal to him.

Oh something I forget to put in my original post, if McCain had picked the democrat Joe Liarman that would have and should have effected my vote cause it would have signaled that McCain intended to govern as a superrino.
But in picking Palin, that was politics to get conservatives to be enthusiastic.

Not again! No. No and double-no. Not Huckabee, not A Bush, not some east coast RINO. There has to be someone better.

100% agree. If the South was in play, MAYBE. But I have to think that the Southerners will vote for a Yankee (actually, I don't consider Mittens a Yankee, but I digress) over a Communist Muslim, so Mittens will win the South.
I think VP will be either Portman or Rubio. I'd love to see an “out of the box” candidate, but I doubt that will happen.

Romney’s best shot at winning is to follow McCain’s most brilliant move and pick a strong conservative to shore up the base. Romney can do much better than Huckabee.
