One way to look at this is that the people murdering children have no regard for life whether it be the baby or the mother. They are simply greedy people who put themselves out there as “murder for hire”.
They need to be told that abortion doesn’t make them unpregnant, it makes them the mother of a dead child.
Another consideration is that women are routinely advised to stop smoking during pregnancy, because smoking leads to a significantly increased risk of fetal loss and premature birth.
A past abortion is just as likely to cause fetal loss or premature birth as smoking. Unfortunately, while the risks associated with smoking can be nearly eliminated by quitting, there is no way to avoid the risks associated with prior abortion. The abortion damage is permanent.
One must always take abortionists publishing on various aspects of abortion with a grain of salt. The idea that unborn babies cannot feel pain until 24 weeks (coincidentally the same point at which most states make convenience abortions illegal) is also the result of a paper published by abortionists. I suspect that babies feel pain much earlier, probably within the first trimester; the nervous system is one of the earliest systems to start development.
