Liberalism is so refuted now by reason and events that it must be propped up somehow.
This is a capitulation.
They’ve always believed that if they repeat a lie enough, it can become true, but then came talk radio and the internet. The left feels it can no longer rely on traditonal media, and they’re right-it’s no longer working. So now they have to resort to believing that if enough of them say it, it has to be so.
