It’s of no wonder to me that this brilliant man backed Newt Gingrich. They share the same worth ethic values.

What a shame this intelligent, sensible man didn’t run for President in 2008!

When I saw signs in Yellowstone National Park warning visitors not to get too close to a buffalo, I realized that this was a warning that no illiterate farmer of a bygone century would have needed. No one would have had to tell him not to mess with a huge animal that literally weighs a ton, and can charge at you at 30 miles an hour. Bump

We’re going to need a bigger ball park. He keeps hitting ‘em out of this one.

Brilliant, cogent analysis of the fallacy of elitists determining what work is ‘meaningful’ and what is ‘menial’. Dr. Sowell should be President Romney’s economic adviser.

What a shame this intelligent, sensible man didnt run for President in 2008!Thomas Sowell's skill set is not the same as that required of an executive officer .
I would settle for a President who reads Thomas Sowell.

The main task for Liberals seems to be overcoming the “intolerance” of common sense handed down by parents and especially God. The more successful they are, the more people have to learn through the school of hard knocks in life.
Often times, just one lesson is the school of hard knocks is your last day in of class.

In the real world, many things are done simply because they have to be done, not because doing them brings immediate pleasure...Works for me - 'things are done because they have to be done'...

Some would apparently prefer a society where all-wise elites would decide what each of us "needs" or "deserves." It is a regrettable fact of human nature that some people prefer to be slaves.
