So he did not shot as they were leaving rather as they were leaving they were going to shot the clerk so he defended himself!

Could it be that "shot" and "shoot" may be replacing "loose" and "lose" in the FR lexicon of maddening word mishaps?

OK. It is all fact based. If one perp was pointing gun towards clerk, then he could open fire on that one and we’ll just chalk up Thug #2 as collateral damage.
