I just got back from voting in the Texas Primary. What I saw was the place was packed. There were 50% lines for the Republican primary and 50% lines for the Dem Primary.
Guess what happened? Not a soul on the Dem Primary line. Not a soul!
And this is a traditionally Blue Dog Dem county.
“Not a soul on the Dem Primary line. Not a soul!”
Mr. “No Preference” is saddened, deeply saddened.
No one showed up to pull the lever next to his name. And after all the campaigning he did to garner more support than Obama!
down ticket votes
LOl!
“Well, at least we know Newt got 2 votes - yours and mine”
Newt got at least one California vote. I mailed in my ballot a couple of days ago.
I voted against an incumbent.
Ralph Hall. He is like 91 years old and I voted Gigliotti

Saw lots of nonsense ads against Cruz.
Cruz and Santorum for me.
Make that 3 for Newt when mine goes in Tuesday.
I was really disappointing in how Dewhurst portrayed Cruz.
Dewhurst made me vote Cruz.
He has to get at least one vote, doesn't he?
I have a bunch of Texas dearly departed loved ones, and they'll come through for the Dems.
All cemetery votes are by definition Democratic.
I saw the ads showing that he wasn’t a conservative, so that made me look up cruz’s record.
He’s a damn sight better than Dewhurst. Solid social and fiscal conservative.
Guy in front of me was asked what party he wanted to vote in.
He said that if he has to pick one , then Republican.

Must have been a new voter if he didn’t know you have to declare party in the primary. Lots of brand new residents here.

Salve
Dead peole like to relax and be left alone.
Merci
Much more state-wide competition in the Republican primary. Most Dem seats only have one candidate running, with exceptions of some county races in Travis, Harris and Dallas counties. So most voters will be Republican.
Another weird thing is Buddy Roehmer was on the ballot but not Rick Perry.
I don’t think this is the year for gubernatorial elections.
The ads were disingenuous and libelous.
