I notice how you studiously ignored the surgery question. Have you had surgery? Do you realize that you only survived it because of what Medieval and Nazi torturers did to people? Does that make you evil?

Really stop throwing around stupid hyperbole and look at the FACTS. A lot of our advances have unfortunate histories. Sometimes people are just trying to not let stuff go to waste. They had aborted fetuses lying around, which is sad and unfortunate but there they were, what to do with them, they harvested some cells, now they have these perpetual cellular test beds. It was either that or throw them out. They weren’t going to unabort the baby, that part was done, so you can either get something useful out of it or not. Kind of like Nazi surgery, can’t undo their evil experiments, but you can still use those advances to save lives every single day. If you start branding things as automatically evil because of the source you lose a lot of medicine and other stuff.

And understand the science will continue. HEK293 WILL continue to be used. Other lines of cell, some from aborted babies some not, WILL continue to be used. People’s live WILL be saved with Nazi surgery. You can’t put the genie back in the bottle, throwing around a bunch of luddite hyperbole might make you feel good but the accomplishment is ZERO, less actually.

I hope you in turn appreciate the viewpoint of those who say hey, we’re dealing with a cursed item here, at the least one which gives a wink and nod to an abominable practice for a highly questionable reason.

On the surgical advancements, Hitler was pure evil and what he caused to happen was evil, that the scientific community learned something from it is still not worth the evil.

MOST, modern surgery is the product of experimentation in a normal medical setting but once again the patient is told of the risks and the chances and makes the choice.

I have no doubt that God can make good come from evil but it is never his intention.

Hell exists, it is not hyperbole and Hell is full of people who spent their days on earth rationalizing evil.

I put my trust in God, not science. I would rather die a miserable death than receive one minute of earthly respite at the alter of a sin and the sacrificed (aborted) child.

By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible.
Hebrews 11:24-27 (NKJV)

But Jesus answered them, saying, “The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified. Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.”

Jn 12:23-26 (NKJV)
