President Obama now holds a six-point lead over Mitt Romney in Pennsylvania, a state considered essential to his reelection bid.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the Keystone State shows the president with 47% support, while the putative Republican presidential nominee picks up 41% of the vote. Seven percent (7%) prefer some other candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.

No worries Barry, Philly has 120% voter turnout and the New Black Panthers have your back!
I wonder what parts of the state have the most undecided voters?
Worked for the RaceMarxist....
For now, I wouldn’t waste a dime in PA. If everything else starts falling into line, PA will come along on its own. But it’s the perennial “teaser,” and should be treated as such.
At least I learned a new word today.
PA is so screwed up!
1) It’s early.
2) Obama is below 50% as an incumbent.
3) Bradley effect.
What’d they do, oversample West Philly?
To many idiots in too many states. Obama’s message is horrible so he will probably lose in November and be back seeking the presidency in a couple cycles from now.
We Conservatives are a small voting block, but since Romney is probably going to lose in a very close election, we are an ESSENTIAL voting block to the RNC.
If the RNC wants to win the 2012 National Presidential and Congressional, they must have our full support.
We impressed the RNC with our 2010 efforts, but the RNC has done NOTHING to put the values of our 89 Warriors into effect.
We now hold the balance of power, IF WE INSIST ON AN OPEN CONVENTION.
Without an Open Convention the GOP-E will choose weak Candidate Romney to lose to Obama, just like they did with lame-brain McCain in 2008.
If the RNC overrules their own stupid Primary Rules, then there is the POSSIBILITY that the Delegates will choose a stellar Conservative Dark Horse that we can promote with vigor to topple Dictator (in his own mind) Obama.
Ponder these ideas, chat with others, and lets visit again on this unique opportunity to not only beat Obama, but slaughter Obama and his Marxist ideas in a massive election Republican Landslide.
Even on the VERY slim chance that Romney squeaks by Obama in November, the Federal problems we have today will be worse in 4 years with Romney as POTUS.
If the RNC wants to win this election, they need us. Let us bring that fact to their attention by a vigorous, grass-roots Campaign for an OPEN Convention.
What say all of you?
“Obama is below 50% as an incumbent.”
PA is a must win state for the Kenyan.
If he can’t win there he might as well resign now.
I blame the 5% who favor someone else.
I live in PA. It’s Philly and Pittsburgh that go 120% Dem and give them the state. They did get whipped in 2010, so maybe the state can do that again. A lot of people are fed up.
The big news in this poll is how many are undecided. Undecided voters usually break away from the incumbent.
Only 5% describe themselves as undecided. 7% want some other candidate. Wonder how many of that 7% are conservatives.
In the long run, PA may come along, but for now this Charlie Brown won’t take a run at this football.
7 percent voting an ‘other’ candidate?! likely most grumpy republicans. it is close to an even race
“For now, I wouldnt waste a dime in PA. If everything else starts falling into line, PA will come along on its own. But its the perennial teaser, and should be treated as such.”
I agree.
Obama will win Pennsylvania — not by much, but he’ll still win there.
Our resources should concentrated on North Carolina, Florida, Virginia (especially), Ohio (critical), Nevada, and New Hampshire.
Romney needs all of these to win (even little NH). If there is some way we can “tip” Wisconsin to our side, that will change things, and New Hampshire won’t be needed. But unless we get WI, NH is a must.
That’s a THREE POINT DROP for the Messiah since the the most recent PA poll.
Anyone see a trend?
Rasmussen Reports 5/21 - 5/21 500 LV 47 41 Obama +6
PPP (D) 5/17 - 5/20 671 RV 50 42 Obama +8
Quinnipiac 4/25 - 5/1 1168 RV 47 39 Obama +8
Musta’ been pollin in Philly and the liberal suburbs of Westchester and Bucks Counties and eastern PA
I think (hope) the rest of the state has seen the light on that pos
