CURL: Hillary Clinton will be the 2012 veep candidate
The Washington Times ^ | 20 May 2012 | Joseph Curl

Posted on 05/20/2012 5:07:28 PM PDT by mandaladon

Show of hands: Who here still thinks Vice President Joseph R. Biden will be on the 2012 ticket?

Really? All of you? So wrong. The Great One, Sir Barack Hussein Obama, will replace the bumbling, buffoonish Mr. Biden with Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton, maybe at the Democratic convention, maybe just before, in a last-ditch effort to win re-election.

The wild and crazy move is all the talk outside the Beltway. One state Democratic leader even tells me the bumper stickers are already printed, sitting in a warehouse in (where else?) Little Rock, Ark. Another party bigwig says she is “99.9 percent sure” the increasingly desperate president planned the whole thing from the beginning. (“C’mon, Hill, be Secretary of State for one term and I’ll make you veep the next!”)

Step back a minute: What does the president get from keeping Punxsutawney Putz on the ticket? Zippy the chimp. But if he bails on Mr. Biden, picks a woman — bam, base enthusiasm goes through the roof, women come out of the woodwork to vote (for Mrs. Clinton, not for Mr. Obama), and it’s 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. for another four years. (Plus, Joe becomes Secretary of State, because, really now, he wouldn’t know what to do if he wasn’t living off the government teat, would he?)

Back to the president’s desperation. As The Washington Times laid out last week, Mr. Obama’s re-election is no lock. “Many models show President Obama with a likely base of 252 electoral votes out of the 270 needed to win,” the paper said. Nice lead. He’s got a hold of the West Coast, the Northeast minus New Hampshire, plus most likely Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Hawaii (although some of those are still considered in play).

Can I ask a stupid question?

If Obama replaced Biden, wouldn’t that be an admission that Obama made a mistake four years ago, in picking Biden in the first place? You know, the old story that a pres. candidate picks a man who is experienced and capable of being president himself on a moment’s notice, if tragedy strikes? Biden supposedly met those tough criteria four years ago.

Or do we not ask that question, because we peons are not supposed to question anything Obama does?????

DNC will ask Biden if he is healthy enough for the VP slot and campaign again. Doesn’t he want to retire? Doesn’t he want to spend his remaining time with his family? Would it be better for his health?

Having a Clinton as your VP is like trying to walk out of South-Central LA with a basket full of 100 dollar bills...

I don’t think Biden will step down willingly, even if offered Secretary of State. He’s an idiot but he’s a very conniving, dangerous idiot because he really thinks he’s brilliant.

The only reason he got the Veep nod in the first place is because he knew the truth about the passport breech in 2008 when Bambi’s file was “fixed”. I suspect that Joe will threaten to talk and then, “sadly” he’ll have another brain aneurysm!

Agreed. I think Hillary wants to bide her time and run in 2016.

That would allow Hillary to be a front runner for 2016 for the Democrats no matter what happens in this years election.

If Obama is re-elected, then he would have been elected twice, and the Dem. nomination would be open in 2016, with no incumbent Democrat seeking re-election.

If Romney is elected, then the Dem. nomination is open in 2016 as Dems. need to run someone against Romney’s re-election that year.

I think that the Clintons will just wait until 2016, rather than have Hillary be tarred and feathered with the failures of the Obama administration by being his running mate.

I really do think Hillary has figured there really is no upside to running, or even being president. She seems completely burned out, and as SOS she has seen what problems the next president will be dealing with.

I’m thinking she looks at her life, her wealth, the high esteem in which she is held by her supporters, and figures: “Who needs to be president?” Especially if she figures there’s a good chance that Obama will lose and doesn’t like the odds.

So that raises an interesting question: Is there ANYBODY in the Democrat that would willingly step up to be VP on Obaka’s ticket?

What if they held a Democrat VP candidate party, and nobody came?

. . . wouldn’t that be an admission that Obama made a mistake four years ago, in picking Biden in the first place

I think this is where "illness" or "pressing family matters" appear, forcing Biden to make the "difficult decision" to step aside.

Thus, we see Rush and Romney both dropping phrases that the Clintons’ and the Obama’ are not exactlt in sinc, to make sure this scenario is discouraged. Bill and Hill have both lent support, naturally, but in remarks heard making recommendations the opposite of the administration.

Hmmm.

that would be a totally smart move on their part. Biden is a total fricking idiot, and to replace him with Hillery is a given. With so many pissed about the romney ticket that won't vote, that would make it a given. We're going communist this year.
You haven't begun to see the damage this man is going to reak on our country.
You may not like Romney....but this man is raised unAmerican and he determined to destroy us.

-we have employed the greatest remote mind viewers in the universe
-to examine the inside of Obama's mind
-concerning the possibility that Hillary would be the VP
-or possibly even challenge Obama for the nomination

The results are in. The video below is what Obama was thinking about concerning that issue. It should be obvious which one is Obama and which one is the Queen. Warning, hard rock video at link.
