The Continental army is like the boy in Tiananmen Square facing down the tanks.
To the broader point—
As bray says, this is COMMUNISM we oppose. You can page through the last 120 years or so of history. What you will find is few occasions on which entrenched communism was done away via elections or democracy. It happened but not often.
I wish I could be as positive about the rise of a new force in electoral politics (the Tea Party) as bray is. But the history of the 20th century in Eastern Europe, S. America, Africa and southeast Asia—and even in Russia and China—is rife with the short-lived rise of opposition forces like the Tea Party and their eventual demise.
Communists, even our own Demoviks, have their ways of dealing with “democracy.”
Ryan/Goulsbee is a liefest. It is all Bush’s fault, it’s congress’ fault, none of it is his fault.
Raise taxes on the rich and starve Granny. Pure scare tactics and communist rhetoric.
