This means that the JS thinks Walker will win, and they want to be on the winning side.

The fish-wrap's "endorsement" is one of the most upside-down, negative, vapid and lily-livered ones I've seen in a lifetime of politics.

Just like a bunch of slimy libs, wait until the polls are so much in favor of Walker that he is almost a shoe in, and then in order to get a better seat at the table, endorse him.

I hope it helps him, regardless of self-serving motivation, but it won't change any crazy union thug's teeny-weeny, closed, single-cell mind.

And a disagreement over a single policy is simply not enough to justify a vote against the governor.

What if was two things ? Maybe a major thing and a minor thing would be enough ?

It's time to end the bickering and get back to the business of the state.

Isn't that really a union issue...they are the ones who pretty much put the state on hold for months

Betcha the union thug leadership is pissed...I'n sure they thought the leading paper would fall in line....I see a strike n their future...

I hope that after Walker’s governorship, he seeks national public office. The guy seems to be the “real deal” Conservative.

Having said that, I look for someone to point out his “imperfections”.

They’re cutting their loses on this one in order to stop public sector union whining about DNC $$$$$$$ not coming to help in WI.

This deflection (”shouldn’t be removed for a single policy”) is being sent as a message nationally: this issue has been temporarily lost and that with no out for them, it only rallies the conservative base.

Because Scott Walker did not fold, he won this battle.

Gov. Walker believes in keeping his focus on the horizon of why he was elected and not on the choppy water of liberal discontent meant to crush his resolve.
