JimRob posted almost a month ago about a so called truce between Romney supporters and the rest of the FReeper community. Since then, it appears the left has little job to do in driving a wedge into the right wing, we are doing it still ourselves.

Were is this truce? How come all I see on here is Alinsky tactics of divide and conquer? Today there was a post about Evil Mittie and him fundraising with morning after pill distributors. And the "true blue conservatives" pounce, little do they know that this pill manufacturer is one of the largest generic pill manufactuyrers in the world.. who produce all kind of medicine, even Augmentin, Azithromycin and Cipro, common anti-biotics..

This so called truce makes me sick. Can't wait to read the next half-baked anti-Romney article and the zealot FReepers who will eat up its every word because it furthers the narrative of Romney that THEY want him to fit into.

I'm not upset that people have beliefs that won't "allow" them to vote for Romney.. but what really irritates me is this active campaigning against people who would support Romney.. what game are you trying to pull? To deliver us into 4 more years of Obama servitude, for what purpose?? It strengthens conservatives? Talk about a phyyric victory. If you don't support Romney fine, but we are all anti-Obama here.. lets stay on focus.

Obomba is for big medicine and has thrown billions of dollars, a lot of them mine, at big pharmaceutical manufacturers including the one you were referring to. In your minds it's ok for romney to hold a fund-raiser at a pro-deather pharmaceutical company because in your opinion they do so much good with all the other medicines they produce. I for one am a Christian and real Christians believe that pharmaceuticals are sorceries just as scripture tells us they are. It is against my Christian beliefs to support witchcraft and sorcery and violates my 1st Amendment right to freedom of religion to make me have anything to do with them yet romney and obomba insist that I pay taxes that are in return spent on drugs (aka pharmaceuticals, potions, witchcraft, sorcery). Romney spits in the face of every Christian and Conservative when he mocks our beliefs and if you think flirting with the devil isn't mocking our beliefs then you're sorely mistaken.
Obomba is anti-Israel. Romney is anti-Israel. Obomba is pro-big government. Romney is pro-big government. Obomba is pro-muslim. Romney believes Islam is not our enemy....

OK, the RiNO's did that. They did all that and more, to ensure that only their candidate was nominated, and that other people, esp. the majority of registered Republicans, couldn't play.

Yes, I too am resentful the RNC uses their power to select the republican candidate instead of waiting until we the people choose first, and then backing OUR candidate. But we elected these idiots in the first place, back when we too thought moderate was he cat’s meow because it kept the peace here. But the time has come when COMPROMISING with leftists can be no more because we’ve moderated ourselves into a quagmire. What we’ve got to do is vote these people out NOW.

Really? How do you propose that? I don't think you moderates understand. A line has been drawn. Most conservatives, myself included, are tired of having rinos shoved down our throats. We're tired of having to pick between the lesser of two evils. In the obomba romney case there is no "lesser of two evils." Both men are evil to their core. Both will lie through their teeth and you cannot prove otherwise. There father is the father of lies, the devil and thinking that any self respecting, God fearing man or woman is going to support either obomba or romney is nothing short of delusional.

Sure... We can work out our differences once the moderates and leftists come to their senses and stop with all the communist nonsense. I for one am tired of taking five steps backward just so some boneheaded jackass can give me half a step forward. Compromise and surrender is NOT an option. The Democrat party, controlled by a small faction of communists/socialists, is in a full out sprint for the cliff where they can leap into that factions oh so glorious utopia. The media, screaming and wetting their panties in excitement, cheering them on. The GOP-E and rinos, with Romney in the lead, are five yards back and mad as hell that they wont be able to jump at the same time as their friends.

Both parties are well to the left end of the political spectrum when they belong to the right of center. The Democrats slightly right of center and the Republicans further to the right.

It's not wrong at all, in fact it's the right thing to do--during an active, competitive primary. But once it was essentially all over but the twitching, I think it was wrong for some not to face the fact that we're going to get Romney or 0bama, whether we like it or not. Gonna happen. So at that point the rational thing to do is look for where there are differences, however small, and pick the guy who's going to do the least damage. If people are unwilling or unable to do that, they should stay out out of the matter. But a person saying they don't want either candidate while actively campaigning against only one is a horse of a different color(not saying this is you, and there's really only one who springs to mind as being on the pro-0bama jihad lately). I just get frustrated with the "they're no different" defeatist line around here. If nothing else there's a hell of a difference between a guy who wants a chance at two terms and a lame duck with nothing to lose. Who do you think the pathetic Pubs will be able to influence more? Now if we lose the house, it probably won't matter as much because Romney hasn't been too strong an executive in a Democrat-dominant environment.

The election is in the congress.

If people had paid more attention to what has been happening behind the scenes at the white hut these past few weeks they might not be so hasty in voicing their displeasure in the GOP liberal candidate. I will take him over the Nazi that is in the White Hut now.

Bit by bit Obastard is taking this country down and these past few weeks it has really ramped up. Expect it to really get going in the lame duck session of congress between the elections and Jan.

I really wonder how many have the guts to take up arms against their fellow citizens because that is exactly what might happen if Obastard is re-elected. With the liberal Republican we can expect race riots and civil unrest which will happen in the socialist strongholds like DEEtroit. Good, for that alone I would puke and cast my vote for the liberal over the Nazi dictator.

The election is in the congress. Plain and simple. So if anyone says they are conservative, then I would suggest they get behind the conservative candidate running for congress. But then again...how many of the conservatives that ran in the last election are backing Romney? I wonder if anyone supported a conservative run against the present Speaker of the House in this election? Dont hear much about that. Cantor? Anyone run against him?

This election sure has my mind in a whirl on what to do.

I realize this country is being run by elites who control who gets the presidency. I often wonder, do our votes even matter?

But I know I want Obama out. I believe wholeheartedly, if he's in for even one second longer, this country is in a real mess that might not be fixed or saved.

And I don't want to vote for Romney. Because he still is a Progressive and has said (and done) many of the same things Obama has. However, I also don't believe he's as dangerous or bad as Obama, he's not a commie, he's not a Marxist and he doesn't hate America and believe in ALL the things Obama does. He hasn't surrounded himself his entire life with radicals who want to destroy the western way of life. And he wasn't raised by Socialist Anti-Colonialists who programmed him to believe in OUR destruction...so to say he's JUST LIKE Obama, is not accurate. In my opinion.

That said, I still don't trust him and I still don't feel he will do what is right to fix this country....in fact I fear he'll continue down the path Obama has us on, but at a slower pace. Not to mention, he'll be a willing puppet, to be manipulated by the elites to run THEIR agenda...

In all honesty, I'd like to write in Palin.

But I am curious who others would be voting for if not Obama or Romney?

And what'll happen when people vote their conscience...would that help Obama (like voting for Perot did with Clinton) or would it help Romney....or neither?

Just curious what others think on that and who others might plan on voting for...etc.
