You trippin' dude. THC makes you as placid as an old hound. I doubt there are many things that would render a person less violent than pot.

Pink Floyd, good headphones and high volume.

But, YMMV...

Generally it tends to make you placid, some people it tends to make you paranoid and if someone has a predispostion to schizophrenia it can exacerbate it.

It's starting to sound like Trayvon might have been doing a little wanndering around on the way back home smoking a doobie, and was afraid he'd get busted if GZ called the cops on him. GZ said he ran from him and disappeared behind one of the buildings. It's possible he ditched the weed back there, then came back to confront GZ, and decided to play a little "Knock King".

It can make some people paranoid. Paranoia makes you do stupid things like attack neighborhood watch members.

THC makes you as placid...

Heck, I'd have to wake-up to reach the state of placid.

Trayvon’s drug use fits with a violent attack.

THC is present in many killers and violent criminals, and career criminals.

THC is almost a given among the violent class of criminals in America, not meaning that they are changed by it, but that they choose it and use it.

“Dr Louise Arseneault, lead author on the studies said: “We found that people dependent on cannabis were more likely to commit violent crime. But to say our studies showed that cannabis itself caused violence is wrong.”

Actually.....

Ill-Effects of Cannabis Use

Users can become disorientated and start to hallucinate and they may become angry, depressed or anxious after the initial feeling of well being wears off. One 17-year-old recreational user describes the down side for him as “getting the fear.” He says: “I start to panic and think everyone’s talking about me”.

All of you are wrong. Marijuana can make people paranoid. I talked to a paramedic about this once. And people who are paranoid can act violently. Not everyone will experience a drug the same way; moreover, the pot kids smoke today is NOT the pot that many people in the 50’s smoked. Way more potent.
