The White House says President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama hold assets worth between nearly $2.6 million and nearly $8.3 million.
The White House released financial disclosure documents Tuesday showing the couple's assets for last year. In 2010 the first family's assets were valued between $1.8 million and nearly $12 million.
The disclosure form requires public officials to list their assets in broad ranges, for example, between $1 million and $5 million, making it difficult to determine a precise net worth.

3 expensive colleges, a trip to Pakistan, a book about a father he hardly knew who was a reprobate and a drunk and a Muslim, and all of a sudden he is dealing with Ayres, and Rezco, buying a mansion and a millionaire.
His wife with a $300,000 dollar a year job she hardly bothered to show up for,that they have never hired anyone else to fill in for.
A Media that doesn’t know and doesn’t care.
Quite a range there... my guess is it’s closer to the 8.3....
And the money keeps growing daily as the checks arrive regularly from the drug cartels crossing our southern borders.
If I were allowed to live like a king as O’bummer has, I too could be very wealthy in a very short period of time.
Perhaps they’ll share the wealth & buy a new hut for his brother in Kenya.
The worst is yet to come, by far. Within ten years of being booted out of office, he’ll be worth more than $100 million and will have the means to begin financing anti-freedom foundations and organizations. He won’t be in Soros’ league, but he’ll be an evil presence among us for decades. As miserable as Carter is in retirement, he never amassed a fortune to try to destroy us.
They never touch their own assets in order to “live large”, either.
