A medical report compiled by the family physician of accused Trayvon Martin murderer George Zimmerman and obtained exclusively by ABC News found that Zimmerman was diagnosed with a "closed fracture" of his nose, a pair of black eyes, two lacerations to the back of his head and a minor back injury the day after he fatally shot Martin during an alleged altercation.

That is why the November elections cannot come soon enough, with a weak economy and other factors, people have had enough.
While I don't like obama, in fact, I hate the sob and despise beyond words those who voted for him, obama does not frightemn me. What frightens, actually scares the hell out of me is a Nation where the majority of those that vote prefers individuals such as him to lead them. Probably no later than december 1, 2012 we will know a lot both about the Nation and ourselves. We may not like it, but, we will know it.
I speak more as a person who is becoming more and more worried about the course of the direction this country is heading.
I would say that it is a well founded worry.
Yes that is a head scratched /s
I must have struck a nerve with post number 10.
Yes and it got me thinking.
Not privy to the presentation by attorney Crump yesterday I can only surmise that any "provoking" alleged was a pure invention. It could be that they intended the words to be literally true, that the mere possession of a gun is a "provocation" justifying an assault by Martin in which case the mere exercise of Second Amendment rights by Zimmerman somehow become distorted into a provocation.
Just as the dispatcher's adjuration that "we don't need you to do that" became a mandatory directive of the police the disobedience of which was itself a crime, or a provocation, or evidence of guilt of some kind.
As far as I know the public record remains absolutely bereft of any evidence of wrongdoing by Zimmerman whatsoever. Surmise and speculation are simply not evidence.
To the contrary, every bit of evidence placed before the public so far confirms zero Zimmerman's version and tends to exonerate him.
They have changed the wording. Zimmerman went from “accused murderer” (which is technically correct”) to “shooter”. “Shooter” is also factually correct, but why is ABC playing around with the wording? My guess is that the word “accused” sounded too much like Zimmerman could possibly be not guilty of murder.
I am curious what the club house video showed.
also just because mere “words” were exchanged, that does not justify a beating.
This smacks of prosecutorial abuse of discretion. seems prosecutors have too much power in light of this case.
So, the wily racist white Mexican with a Jewish surname bruised poor Trayvon’s knuckles with his face. Very interesting.
I fear the same thing. According to what we know now, it would appear that the original police decision not to charge Zimmerman was justifiable.
Second degree murder seems ludicrous unless much more evidence than we know now will be brought to light.
It wouldn't take jury nullification to acquit Zimmerman of all charges. It would just take the prosecution not proving their case of second degree murder.
Even a lesser crime charge might not have been justified if evidence points to Zimmerman walking away from the confrontation, then being ambushed by Martin.
But regardless of what happens, I fear politicization of the trial and verdict and riots. So needless.
