Posted the following on a now zotted antifreeper thread a little while ago as I banned the atheist bastard who claimed we were NAZIs for defending Christianity, our God and our national heritage:

Free Republic is a pro-God (that’s the Judeo-Christian God for those in Rio Linda), pro-Life, pro-Family, pro-Gun, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-Liberty, pro-Small (Limited) Government, pro-Declaration, pro-Private Property, pro-Strong Defense, pro-Borders, etc, ie, a grassroots pro-Traditional American Conservatism site.
We are strongly opposed to Marxism, communism, socialism, anarchism, fascism, abortionism, homosexualism, militant feminism, class warfare, nanny statism, crony capitalism, police statism, statism of any kind, whacko environmentalism, pacifism, government enforced atheism, or any other ism related to collectivism, leftism, liberalism, totalitarianism, etc, or used as weapons of destruction against our constitution, capitalism, our moral society, our religion, our traditional American way of life, our freedom, etc, and that includes RINOism. Unlike any other nation on earth, ours was founded on the belief that our rights to exist and to live free are granted by GOD, not government. We the people created our government and gave it life and its LIMITED powers! We control it! It does not control US!!

Jim, further to my post #12 I sent an email to Mrs. RQSR at work, and told her about this thread which has rejuvinated our spirits (we were getting a bit depressed with all the crap), and asked her if she agree we send another $20.00 in addition to the $40.00 we already sent. She returned the email just now saying the check will be in the mail tomorrow as the mail already went out today.
So, count on another $20.00 from So. Cal. for the current FReepathon.

If we can rid ourselves of anti-FR disruptors and focus on getting good conservatives elected at the House and Senate levels we can have fun again.
I am tired of debating bedrock conservative principles with “conservatives” who want to make FR something besides conservative.
The Leftists have been working diligently to redefine what Conservatism is to the Left to suit their purposes for quite some time IMO. I’ve railed about it often since I came to FR. It’s the only way they can crash the wall of commonsense is to deceitfully influence the definition of Conservatism perhaps incrementally until many of the centrists, say independents believe we are other than what we are.
It’s how they influenced the GOP to become the BIG TENT party open to idiocy such as Bloomberg once upon a time, and now Romney. Not to mention TRent Lott, and some other well known RINO’s current to yore.
You gave that guy every chance.

Not "against" Mitt Romney. JR has already said we have no dog in the fight for the White House. They are both liberals and we should fight for conservative House and Senate candidates.

There are a gaggle of Freepers who keep trying to convince all that a vote for Romney is, take your pick:
1. A "Sin."
2. "Unpatriotic."
3. WORST than voting for the FASCIST, HATE-AMERICA/Military, Neo-Commie, Dear Leader.
And that Romney is the Devil Incarnate and the Mormon Religion is probably the most evil, dangerous, phony, non-Christian, religion on the planet, thus, ergo, so is Romney.
Yeah, JR has stated that a truce exists and so far, those of us who (WHILE we do NOT trust Romney; readily admit he is a RINO; would as soon have ANY of the other candidates being the "presumptive nominee") refuse to buy into what those who are BLINDED by their HATRED as well as their DELUSIONAL and naive arguments that it would be better to (1) stay home or (2) write in another person's name, as opposed to holding our nose have been allowed to express our opinions freely and for that, I am appreciative.
I will continue to voice my opinion on why (and I usually back up my arguments with FACTS) as a 68 year old, TRUE BLUE CONSERVATIVE, Christian, Vietnam Vet, that I fear for our Republic and another 4 years of Obama could very well harm the United States to a point, we would be decades recovering....IF EVER.
Yes, I agree that abortion, gay marriage, amnesty, the economy, SCOTUS appointments, and other Social Issues are important, BUT, I am much more concerned about how O'Bummer continually to defend, appease, if not "support" ISLAMOFASCISM, while he cuts our Military and welcomes with open arms within the White House, Islamic Jihadists supporters as well as Muslim Brotherhood members.
ALL the Social Issues will be for naught if there is no Freedoms or Liberties left for us to exercise or if the United States ceases to be what it has been for over 200+ years.
While Mittens is an unknown cipher and we are not certain how he will govern, what I do know is that there is ABSOLUTELLY NOTHING he has ever said or done that would indicate his HATRED for the US, or his readiness to SUBMIT to Islam/Sharia.
On the other hand, we have 3 1/2 years of evidence of the Community Agitator having worked diligently to DESTROY Capitalism if not America thus my decision to support Romney is one born of experience, logic and commons sense and not one I take lightly.
Moreover, ANYONE who thinks (even if we can retake the Senate) that with the number of WUSS, RINO's in the House and Senate, can keep O'Bozzo in check as he issues EO and EO and has his Czars and Agency/Dept heads sally forth with their policies and agendas, while ignoring the Constitution, ANYONE can (or is willing) to keep him from doing whatever he wants is living in la la land.
Anyone can do what they want, but being a Patriot who has once put it all on the line and who loves his country more than life, I will follow my conscience.
