JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMOX) - Its official and its a done deal: Conservative talk-show host Rush Limbaugh is now officially inducted into the Hall of Famous Missourians. People might have wondered why he wasnt doing his radio show today its because he was in Jefferson City.
Just before 1:00 p.m. the mad scramble in the halls of the state capitol began, barriers started going up and additional Capitol police and the Highway Patrol started drifting in. The word leaked out that today was the day for Limbaugh to take his place in Missouri history.
Apparently the only people aware of what was going on were members of GOP majority and the Missouri Highway Patrol. The public was not invited to the ceremony.
Republican Missouri House Speaker Steven Tilley selected Limbaugh, a native of Cape Girardeau, for the honor but he kept the timing of the ceremony more secret than the raid on Osama bin Ladens hideout in Pakistan. The public apparently didnt have a clue as to what was going on.

Ditto that.
Congratulations to the BIG VOICE ON THE RIGHT. It is well deserved, Sir.
If he keeps leaving Mark Davis to do the show he won’t have a show to come back to.
Agreed.
I barely made it through a half-hour today before Davis pissed me off. First, he proclaimed that Ubama is not gay (how would he know?) and then I think he said something about Ubama being born in the US (how would he know that?).
I couldn't take him anymore... turned to sports talk radio.
He used to be worse, believe it or not. A few years ago he had his own show on the weekend and he was snide and sarcastic like you wouldn’t believe. At least I can tolerate him now.
Larger than life...Just like Limbaugh.
Much congratulations to him.
I hope they put a security camera up and jail every libtard that messes with it.
Do you really think they would throw the Dem leadership in jail? Or the Gov if he is a dem?
Congrats Rush.
Nothing is worth listening to the worthless RINOsaurus, Mark Davis. I flipped the channel as soon as I realized it was him.
I enjoy studying American history and, in that context, I believe that Rush is truly a significant person in the history of America. I would compare him to Sam Adams and Paul Revere of Revolutionary War days. He is an absolute original and is definitely working for the betterment of the country he loves. Libs would disagree but Rush is right up there at the top of the list. God Bless Rush.
Me, too! LOL
I wondered how many thousands did the same thing.
They forgot the Halo!
You mean "Poco Loco Deekco" LOL !!!!
*rme*
I listened to Dennis Prager yesterday. Steyn is the only fill in I like. And I like him a LOT.
Nope. My wife turned the radio off after the first segment and I thanked her for it.
Wow. Apparently, I was not the only one who turned him off after his stupid comments on the Kenyan Crackhead-in-Chief.
Congrats Rush! An honor both well deserved & way overdue.
Yesterday I was fuming at the radio, “So, Rush, off on another of your golf tourneys where you can smoke expensive cigars with your rich pals and then afterward spend half the show talking about it!!”
(Just kidding)
Agreed, his bust will need a 24/7 guard because liberals are so civilized, so decent, so caring, so compassionate, AND soooooooo tolerant!
;^)
So did I.
