EXCLUSIVE: Wisconsin Dems furious with DNC for refusing to invest big money in Walker recall
WaPo ^ | 5/14/12 | Greg Sargent

Top Wisconsin Democrats are furious with the national party — and the Democratic National Committee in particular — for refusing their request for a major investment in the battle to recall Scott Walker, I’m told.

The failure to put up the money Wisconsin Dems need to execute their recall plan comes at a time when the national Republican Party is sinking big money into defending Walker, raising fears that the DNC’s reluctance could help tip the race his way.

“We are frustrated by the lack of support from the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Governors Association,” a top Wisconsin Democratic Party official tells me. “Scott Walker has the full support and backing of the Republican Party and all its tentacles. We are not getting similar support.”

“Considering that Scott Walker has already spent $30 million and we’re even in the polls, this is a winnable race,” the Wisconsin Dem continues. “We can get outspent two to one or five to one. We can’t get spent 20 to one.”

But didn’t the Democrats just tell us that money didn’t matter in this race because no one is undecided so there was no need to persuade anyone?

Years ago one of the Madison radio stations did a contest to create the best slogan for the city. One of the top entries was “City of the Perpetually Offended”. It fits.

Gov. Walker got more votes that Tom Barrett and Kathleen Falk combined.

When you consider that thousands of republicans, it is belived, crossed over to vote for Falk, the DNC must see the handwriting on the wall.

I wonder if the scum sucking union types in Wisconsin or any other state monitor Free Republic? I wonder why they don't get the over 500 tax delinquents who are in their membership to pay for the campaign? If the unions want him recalled, then the unions need to pony up the money. Why should the DNC pay the unions anything? Are the stupid union members unaware of the one way street their money is on? Don't they understand that all that money paid in Stimulus Funds in 2008-2009 was earmarked to be returned to the DNC for his imperial majesty Comrade President Obama’s reelection fund? Are all union members so stupid or does following after Communists just wear down your brain after a while? ALL UNION MEMBERS IN WISCONSIN ARE COWARDS AND TRAITORS TO AMERICA. And they don't have enough spit between them to make a farts worth of difference between them and every other Marxist in this country that should be deported.

Democrats asking for more money and being furious when they don’t get what they want. Same old song. It must be in their DNA.

Sounds like the Dems in Madison want a scape-goat. If they fail to oust Walker in this recall election, they can place the blame on lack of support from their own party instead of lack of support for their own agenda.

Either way--works for me!

Last week I saw a poll showing him up by 5 - looks like the pollsters are letting the lefties down easy by not showing what the people of Wisconsin really think of them all at once..
