SANFORD, Fla. WFTV has learned charges against George Zimmerman could be getting more serious.
State prosecutors said Zimmerman, a neighborhood watchman, profiled and stalked 17-year-old Trayvon Martin before killing him, so the FBI is now looking into charging him with a hate crime.
Zimmerman admitted to killing Martin in February during a confrontation. However, he claims the shooting was in self-defense. He's facing a second-degree murder charge, which carries a maximum possible sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole. But if Zimmerman is charged and found guilty of a federal hate crime involving murder, he could face the death penalty.
FBI investigators are actively questioning witnesses in the retreat at the Twin Lakes neighborhood, seeking evidence for a possible federal hate crime charge.
No, they don't. Partly because the chaos likely won't happen until Obama is no longer POTUS and partly because he and the media never accept responsibility for any thing.
Right on both counts.
If they do they’ll break him financially. It could cost millions to defend himself. The government has unlimited funding and is absolutely political.
Think how quickly the FBI went from being the keystone cops of law enforcement to being the most respected law enforcement agaency in the world to being a political tool? We’re talking less than a four decades.
Government in the hands of anyone is dangerous. We need to return to Constitutional government at every level.
To all:
Be cool. Don’t take any political/social bait. Just watch the picture show, and drive on.
I donated.....and am going to donate more.
MOre people need to help this guy.
If he is found not guilty of manslaughter by self-defense, he gets hit with a hate crime? Isn’t this double jeopardy?
“Since when does the FBI have standing to charge anyone for anything?”
Dillinger probably wondered the same thing;)
No. Different charge, different jurisdiction. Remember OJ Simpson.
But in spirit I absolutely agree with you. The feds have no sincere interest here. It is COMPLETELY inappropriate for the office. but since it is the Øbozo regime and they have shown themselves to be bereft of any ethics or common sense I expect this charade to go forward.
Pray for G. Zimmerman - He’s gonna need it.
I have been saying that for four years.
Had we done so, we would be ready when the time comes.
Names. All the way down to the unionized local storm troopers who will blindly follow any orders from the communist central planners.
Unfortunately, most of the unconstitutional orders, laws, policies and oppresive programs never have a name attached to them (if 'everyone' is respomsible, 'no one' is responsible,) and the Soros Obama regime makes sure that the citizens are stonewalled. None of the losers want their names attached to the brave new republic.
Yes and no. Rationally, under the rule of law, it violates the spirit of the law. The First Rapist, Clinton's Justice department, introduced the concept that double jeopardy was OK, if the feds filed charges, under the irrational interpretation of a 'civil rights' statute, a federal crime, if they are not happy with the legal verdict of what was, essentially, a state crime. Happened after the acquital of the cops in the Rodney King riots trials.
If the GOP had any members with guts and brains, they would introduce a law that makes elected federal office holders subject to state laws for incompetence, corruption, abuse of authority and fraud under color of authority.
Turnabout is fair play.
Let the state national guards fight it out with the army. See how far that gets! I would love to see the Feds take over for the even more corrupt and incompetent California legislature.
Might be time for the 'black community to hear from some honest white people... and some honest black people...
Also, if the FBI does this as a PC witch hunt, they'll be throwing their credibility away faster than NBC doctoring tapes of Zimmerman...
Probably not nullify related existing laws but would deny future similar perversions of the "commerce" clause.
It's useful to note that corrupt Justice Deparments have not been successful using any other existing clause in the Constitution to abuse citizens with a similar, creative, swiss army knife interpretation similar to "interstate commerce."
Revolution, not civil war. There is a huge difference. "You never want a serious crisis go to waste!" was made famous by this bunch.
Even worse, they have demonstrated if no crisis exists, they will create one, even if it involve mass murder. "Fast and Furious" has created a "firestorm crisis" in Mexico. By arming the Sinaloa drug cartel of Mexico, Obama's DOJ has massively expanded the War in Mexico, resulting in thousands killed.
I’ve been making Madame DuFarge knitting references for a good while. Here’s one from 2006, but I expect there are earlier ones.

Seriously, how do you do that in a collaborative way that doesn’t bring undue attention? Probably impossible.
The following is right along the lines you’re talkin’ about.

An FBI agent visiting my indoor range in CA told me this was going on in 1999. The weapons are being sold by gang members who joined the military and sell to their homies.
The weapons are being cached in anticipation of a hot shooting war on our soil. Gangs vs everyone else. This isnt news. It is a long term pattern. It wont be pleasant when the shooting starts.

What is a legitimate website for donating to Zimmerman’s defense fund?
It`s also possible that while pleasing to black`s, they may also offend Hispanic`s
I wish the trial could start prior to the election
I don’t know. He had a Facebook page for a while and (I think) linked it to a PayPal account but that’s closed down at this point. the prosecuting attorney found out about the money he raised for his defense and wanted to up his bail in an attempt to seize it.
