The cautious approach that top Republicans have taken on whether to vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress has sparked a new round of hand-wringing over the party’s direction on Capitol Hill.
Specifically, conservatives want bolder, more aggressive leadership from House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) and the rest of GOP high command — on Holder and the broader Republican agenda heading into November.

I called Boehner’s office and tried to express my support for Issa and the contempt citation. I was placed on hold and no one ever came back on the line. I also called Cantor’s office and put in my two cents worth with them.
I have my doubts that any of them listen but maybe sheer numbers will get the point across!
Boehner is not an “empty suit”. He is dressed more like a “weak sister”.
His motto is: “Forward, maybe; let’s vote on it - no, let’s think about it; I gotta go to the john”.
That’s the spirit, VikingMom. I will be faxing a letter to the Speaker in the morning. He realizes that for each of us that contacts him, there are thousands of other concerned Americans who share our view. There is no question that Boehner is feeling pressure from his caucus and from some in the press.

Boehner is totally misnamed. I doubt if he remembers his last one and if he has a single solid bone in his body, I would be very surprised. There certainly isn’t one in his back!
He, like every other RINO in congress, is on borrowed time and he better get that dialed in fast. The Tea Party Patriots have tasted blood and we like it. Roast RINO is on the menu!
He better start showing some moxie or he’s going to get shown to the door!
