Student loan interest rates? Students aren’t worried about the interest rates until they start to pay it back, if then, it’s just another monthly bill.
As if everyone doesn’t understand the WaPo is looking for their Macaca moment to destroy the Republican. Can’t say you can feel too sorry for Mitt after his $400 Million scorched earth campaign.
Pray for America
Why does the media go after someone who may or may not have done something forty years ago? Easy. Mittens is a Republican.
Sure will, Miss Marple. Do you have his twitter handle? Also, any other twitter handles you can think of. I know you’ve been a tweeting warrior for our side... Please send us some work!
All, I am going to Mass now, so I’ll be back in a couple of hours... Us Dad’s are doing a Sunday Brunch for the Moms. Keep the reports on the shows coming, folks!
Morning AB, All .
Singing in choir at 8:30 mass. Happy Mother’s Day to all Moms and as always, thank you AB, for doing this thread.
Goodness this week we have gay marriage and a media, come on folks, they are the laughing stock, no?
And how about that bad, bad Romney, cutting some guy’s hair? What a find that was for some enterprising reporter, eh?
“I don’t know Axel. Guys up in the boardroom are getting tired of being your administration’s mouthpiece. I mean we want to keep getting the inside scoops and we’re really grateful for you cluing us in on that CIA operative story. But Axel, you gotta start being a little serious. Just because your guy’s going after the gay vote...we can’t make this week Gay week.”
“Joe, come on, who do you love here? I got a couple other CIA stories in the works for you next week and we got some real news about to break about Hillary. Work with me here”.
Loud sigh heard over the phone lines.
“Last week it was “women’s week”, week before “contraceptive week”, this week we got gay week. Axel, used to be reporters and newspaper ran stories about the real news of the day, not about the current fundraising target of the administration. We’re getting to be the laughingstock of the world.”
“Joe, you want my stories about the state department scandal and more CIA leaks or not? It’s a tradeoff Joe, and you know it. And don’t forget we got that vote coming up to give you guys an extension of your White House pass. You going with the Romney story or not?
Loud sigh hear over the phone lines.
“Sure, Axel, let me get my pen.”
They are positively the laughing stock. If that White House thinks us Americans who carry this country on our backs is going to go bonkers over some high school prank by Romney man I got a bridge to sell anyone thinks so.
But hey, it’s gay week this week, as decreed by the White House and backed up by the once honorable Washington Post. Week before last, was contraceptive week to satisfy the women on the left who get welfare but want their birth control for free. Lessee, they got Steponallofus to begin that PR run, remember he first brought it up during a Republican presidential debate? Then it was a PR run for women and lessee, they had that CNN operative start that. Now we got the WAPO printing the absurd Romney and the haircutting story, a story with absolutely no witnesses and one which the very victim’s family disavows.
The idea is to paint the administration as kind to poor women wanting birth control and make the Republicans look bad. OR maybe have Romney’s wife look wealthly and lazy as “real” women bring home the bacon AND cook it, or, well they had to kind of manufacture the Romney cutting the hair story but hey, had to make the Repubs, via Romney and his scissors, look mean and anti-gay.
And folks, it’s not so much that they’re failing miserably at every attempt to manufacture issues and set up their absurd national dialogues. IT’s how incredibly stupid the media looks carrying their absurd water.
Yeah, I know we been saying it right along, but it’s getting bad, people, it’s getting really bad.
Obama has now made the Dem Party officially the gay marriage party. Despite the phony polls that show the majority of Americans favoring it by a slim margin, the real poll is the ballot box. Everytime (save one in AZ that was later reversed) gay marriage is on the ballot, it loses--NC being the latest example.
Obama's support of gay marriage further isolates him as being someone who does not identify with the values of the American people. He is a radical and an outsider. That should be the narrative leading up to November. Most Americans don't want to be transformed whether thru Obamacare or gay marriage.
It went down in liberal Oregon 63-37 after it polled 55-45 for it according to the phony polls. The pro-homos called it a conspiracy the phony polls could be so wrong. If it loses in Oregon and Cal, how can it be a winner in middle America?
Agreed. Far from energizing his own base, Obama is energizing his opposition to a far greater degree. And he made a mistake doing it so early in the campaign. You can bet the MSM will try to make it a big deal during the debates. The strategy is to make it a civil rights issue that our black President can push.
Yup, and it is our job and that of every one of our candidates to create a deafening roar in response to this crap.
We need to demand answers regarding
The fraudulent SS numbers
The forged Selective Service Registration
The top secret college transcripts
His funding as a "foreign student"
His illegal alien "fathers American flag draped coffin" buried in Kenya
What happened to his and Moochelle's licenses to practice law?
What's the deal with your composite girlfriend?
Is Larry Sinclair telling the truth?
Further discussion about the communists and terrorists in his past, including the hate-group church he sat in for 20 years....
etc etc etc
It needs to start happening now!
You can bet the lamestream media would be beating down the doors investigating Mitt if the question pertained to him. The One is totally off limits.
Had I mentioned that it needs to start happening now?
Sens. Jon Tester (Mont.) and Claire McCaskill (Mo.), the two most vulnerable Democratic senators, have declined to endorse Obamas call for the legalization of gay marriage.
Sens. Joe Manchin (W.Va.), Bob Casey (Pa.) and Bill Nelson (Fla.), Democrats who have easier races but in states that could become more competitive by November, have also backed away from Obamas stance.
They all represent states with constitutional amendments or laws banning same-sex marriage.
It’s interesting about Obama and the press. I watched the panel on Fox News Sunday and it was all about the Washinton Post’s infamous screed about how Romney committed a hate crime in high school.
Apparently the Post made this a magazine length front page story according to Brit Hume who was disgusted by the Post. He makes sense but he’s not fiery. Way too much time given to Juan Williams as always (or does it just seem that way because he’s so hard to listen to).
The Post seems to be footnoting this non-story about Obama being okay with gay marriage by implying that Romney is a mean and raging homophobe.
If you believe the story, (and I don’t) he got a little cadre of equally mean boys to hold a boy who was perceived to be gay and had long blond curls down while torture was inflicted on the boy ... the torture consisting of using scissor on him.
No, he wasn’t stabbed or otherwise mutilated but he lost his curls.
What a silly story and the family of the boy featured is furious that their family member is being used as a political ... why do they always say football? Wouldn’t some other ball work. Anyway the family made one dignified statement and said no further comments would be forthcoming.
anyway, nobody on the panel chose to wonder about the total lack of interest by the press in anything Obama has ever done from birth to the presidency. Not One Person.
Did Obama get a pass because he is black? No. Herman Cain is black. He didn’t get a pass.
I guess it has to be the perfect combination : black & liberal/socialist.
Oh, c’mon. You knew it was too good to be true that they would replace Wallace.
I wish they would replace him with someone conservative and substantial like ??? can’t think of who right now.
Like Reince Prebus told Gregory, already they’d spent eight minutes talking about gay marriage, and I’m glad he pointed that at.
I mean the administration needs to fundraise from the homosexuals and boom, all the media falls down as if worshipping Allah and it becomes the subject du jour.
I don’t know how these people can sleep at night.
Now they all talking about it on Meet the Press. Here’s my question....if the administration weren’t demanding that this be Sunday’s topic, would the MTP producers put it at the top of their discuss list?
Give somebody enough money and they’ll talk about what you want to talk about, I must suppose.
I’ll tell there’s very few in America what lost sleep last night worrying about gay marriage, that’s my guess.
They make such laughingstocks of themselves.
I heard some commentator yesterday who said that the Obama coming out party was a total fiasco by the democrats... that Obama had intended to hold his little gay marriage approval speech until later in the campaign but that Biden forced his hand.
Rush and others think it was all orchestrated, so I don’t know, but I would totally believe that Biden blundered. It’s what he does.

These phony issues are just more interesting to people than something hard and complicated like a financial plan to get the economy working again.
Otherwise, they’d have Paul Ryan on more frequently.
They have one sexy but absolutely inconsequential story after another that they stay focused on for a week, until they can find something else.
Did anybody see Obama talking in front of the garage yesterday? Who is advising him?
I wish they would replace him with someone conservative and substantial like ??? cant think of who right now.
Liz Cheney?
