“A reassuringly normal American.”
I think you are onto something here as Romney’s selling point. All Romney has to do is convince 50% of the voters he is acceptable as a President and they can be assured of normalcy. This is the characteristic that will win over independents and fence sitters.

I think you are exactly right...he will go after him tooth and nail and he will do it with a perpetual smile on his face.
Would to God that Bush had stood up and defended himself, or that McCain had allowed Sarah to go tooth and nail after Obama.
Obama is so open to factual truthful reporting showing what he really is. Much is hidden in his early life through college...but since getting into the IL legislature there is simply tons of stuff out there about the man and what he really represetns...just waiting to be used.

-— And if there is anything that the American people want and need at this point, it is a return to normal—to the familiar, the tried and trustworthy values that got us all here.——
You’re right, even if it’s a facade.

Very well said...and I believe, spot on.
The American people (the majority of them) long for normalcy and a return to traditional values and leadership. The are getting the exact oppoistie from the Kenyan Marxist.

Obama is a sinking ship. The libs are going to get crazier as it becomes more clear that Obama is toast.
Look for fake liberal pollsters like CBS, Washington Post and the rest, to give up any semblance of honesty and start putting out polls which, in their ever increasing desperation, will be obviously fraudulent.

Rasmussen's numbers may be right, but have no doubt - the MSM pollsters WILL have a survey out early next week showing a huge bounce for Brak after his coming out party. Positive polls numbers are a vital component of this whole staged, shoddy media circus, and they WILL proclaim the desired result, no matter what.
My guess is the AP will carry the water this week, but the CBS or CNN polls are also likely suspects.

if Romney starts creeping up into the low or mid 50s, the Dems are gonna have a meltdown of epic proportions. That would be fun to watch.

Romney will win. When he does, watch the Obama pardons pour in! November will be a GOP landslide.
The only people more in denial about this than Team Obama are FR's resident defeatists.

That is an excellent analysis. Yes, it is rather very simple, the majority of voters want to go back to a normal person for President who believes in America the way the vast majority of Americans have believed in since the Founding Fathers and until today.

Coach Kevin Collins wrote that this was a panic move by Obama. I think the same as Coach and have said so from the first minute of this gay nonsense.
Obama is desperate and has already started throwing Hail Marys six months out.

Breaking News (Washington Post):
While in the 2nd grade, Romney threw a spitball at the teacher. He was made to stand in the corner for 1 hour.

Please, take nothing for granted. We must completely destroy Obama and the entire Democrat Party politically for many years to come. Stay engaged and continue the battle as if we were losing by twenty points! It's like I said on another thread, anyone who's not pulling their oar with all of their might is a Frenchman!

Egads! I heard rumors that Mitt stayed up way past midnight as a tween on several occasions!
Maybe we should vote for the communist?

Obama’s approval index is -22 points. While that is significant, it’s even more significant that he is down this much with less than 6 months to go before the election.
Short of declaring martial law and suspending the elections, or electoral cheating on an unprecedented massive scale, I don’t see how he can overcome this.
