Hugo’s eyes aren’t opening. He’s a die hard Castro wannabe. He’s a big boy, a grown man, who’s had PLENTY of opportunity to change his life, and he’s “socialismo!” to the end.
Your opinion is duly noted, and I defend your right to have a different one than mine.
No communist/socialist/etc, though, would waste a moment’s time giving you the same defense. Hugo and his ideological ilk would remove you from this Earthly coil in a heartbeat for disagreeing with their view of Utopia if you were in their way.
