The left is hellbent (pun intended) on destroying the nuclear family. Every policy that the support, in some way is detrimental to the nuclear family.
Indeed, gay “marriage” IS more important than elections to them, because it is a severe blow to the concept of family.
You know, some of these gay “marriages” don't work out and a “divorce” is worked out and they find they are like any real couple:
Alimony. Child support. Child custody. Ask Rosie.
Be careful of what you want, you might get it. It might turn out to be more of a problem than you could ever imagine.
A civil deal might be the better situation, in the long run.
And, the children suffer. Think about that, homosexuals.
