With the economy stalling and unemployment stubbornly above eight percent, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is getting sick and tired of answering questions about social issues.
On Wednesday, when he was barraged with questions about such earth-shattering issues as legalizing marijuana and in-state tuition for the children of illegal immigrants, Romney scolded his interviewer, "Aren't there issues of significance that you'd like to talk about? The economy? The growth of jobs? The need to put people back to work? The challenges of Iran?" (video follows with commentary):

Someone in Romney’s campaign is finally listening to Mark Levin. Mark berated the Romney campaign over the contraception deception by stating that Romney should have responded with what about the real issues women have (economy, jobs, etc.).
I am in agreement with Romney. The press has become little more than superficial coyotes howling in the night over each other.
And then he turns around and apologizes for some stupid prank he did in high school.
Worst, candidate, ever.
he should also demand that “reporters” look into Obama’s background
Perfect.
Bob Dole?
Great response! He needs to hammer this everyday and make the media focus on the issues!
Yes, even worse than Bob Dole....although maybe he won’t be quite as bad as McLame, but time will tell.
I would love to see Romney act more like ... Newt Gingrich
I WOULD vote for a Romney-Gingrich ticket
Romney should has responded by telling the press that he will answer those questions after they have asked Zer0 if he is bisexual.
unemployment stubbornly above eight percent, ......Why, O, why don’t conservative institutions tell the real figure of 28-30% unemployment? We are upholding the scams, lies and disinformation of these communist bastards.
The one big trump card Obama is trying to pull is to distract Romney and any other rising COngressional candidates out there from the issue of the economy, hopefully as many of the running candidates out there as possible get the picture and keep on a’hammering at what is going on with the economy.
As for Obama, it’s been news that he was for gay rights since 1996, back when he was a Chicago politician. He pulled this statement a little too late.
Romney must write off the American media. If he hears just one of these silly ass questions he should say...interview over! Why give a break to the wolves? The birdcage bottom media will only try to play him.
Excellent pic!
"Here, look at the monkey. Look at the silly monkey!"
Good for Romney, for once. More of this. More of the too-rare Romney who got back in the face of that woman who heckled that she “want[s] free contraception.” “If you want free stuff, vote for the other guy.” That was the FIRST TIME I have ever cheered for Romney.
Keep slapping squish Romney in the right direction.
