Eighteen-month-old Riyanna has been called a lot of things: cute, adorable and now ... a suspected terrorist. Related
She was called that on Tuesday night at the Ft Lauderdale Airport. She and her parents had just boarded a JetBlue flight when an airline employee approached them and asked them to get off the plane, saying representatives from the Transportation Security Agency wanted to speak to them.

Yes, you have to wait some time until they finally showed the parents—from the back. They are “of Middle-Eastern descent,” the reporter says. And the woman is wearing a hijab.
FWIW, there have been cases where bombs have been strapped to Muslim infants.
The story also says that this child is a frequent flyer. This time to Florida. No comment on where else, or whether her parents usually accompany her.
This actually makes a bit more sense than most of the tales about Homeland security abuses.

That's like when Ted Kennedy was on the no fly list. Keep him away from the controls and make sure that no one was in the danger zone between him and the booze cart and everyone was safe. Well, also keep him near the middle of the plane so there aren't any center of gravity issues.

Hey it has to be done, in case elderly, Amish female terrorists start disguising themselves as infants.

TSA'S objective has nothing to do with protecting Americans against acts of terrorism. It has everything to do with getting the citizenry conditioned to accept more and more intrusive governmental intimidation and control and the undermining of our quickly disappearing freedoms. More and more it appears the TSA and Homeland Security are expanding their sphere of control and influence over our daily lives. I see an eerie parallel forming between what we are going through now and the early stages of what the German people experienced as the SS and Gestapo began to grow their sphere of intimidation, fear, and control in the 30's. Folks better start waking up and realizing this before it gets beyond the point of no return.

"Well, it's not you or your husband. Your daughter was flagged as no fly."Yeah, that's the ticket. The mother is wearing a hijab, but tell 'em it's the kid. Maybe the toddler is packing an explosive load in her diapers.

Throw the EPA into that and we have a deal. The EPA is the beginning of the Nazi SS of America.
NO one has control of the EPA except themselves, no one can/will stop them.

I don't think that was probably the case here. But Muslim terrorists have used children as suicide bombers on occasion. I just did a search, and most of the photos seem to have disappeared from the internet, but I did find this one picture of a picture--children being trained as suicide bombers.

My father was there, in Germany, toward the end of the war (fleeing Stalin). He was little but remembers enough. He only half-jokingly said that it was easier to move around then than it is now, under the new USSA police state.

That’s stunning. How I wish I could hear the stories your dad could tell about what it was really like back then.

Isn’t that insane??? And, he and his family were about to be deported to Siberia, so they ended up in one of Hitler’s camps instead (where they bribed a guard with some gold and got out). Anyway, he (and my mom, who had fled with her family to Austria) don’t talk about it much, but here and there, we’ll hear some snippets....
It blows my mind that within one generation, we have fallen. Except, this time, there is no beacon of shining light to eventually go to. (Unless, of course, things change fast.)
To: GingerC
blah blah blah. You have folks screaming rights violation because they were profiled and their daughter flagged.
Me? I thought that the gubmint told us that the war on terror is over. If so why is the TSA still around?
