Anyone else curious how Cher decides what words deserve the all caps treatment? Seems a little haphazard, but since we’re not out of our minds with ignorant RAGE, maybe we’re not seeing the method to her madness.

The popular music and entertainment industry have almost single handedly inverted the notion of what voices a nation holds up as the cream of their intellectuals who would provide insightful commentary on the issues of the day from politics to social trends. On a good day, this “Cher” thing would have risen to burlesque singer tops, entertaining drunks in a saloon. Goethe or Leibnitz she ain’t.
