It’s stoopid! It won’t pass. States need to start telling the fed govt to drop dead!

Shouldn’t these idiots, from another dimension, wait to see if Trayvon was actually unjustly shot?
Otherwise, there is any evidence it shouldn’t remain as is.

"'Shoot-first' laws have already cost too many lives. In Florida alone, deaths due to self-defense have tripled since the law was enacted.

Um, wasn't this kinda the whole point of the law?

Stand your ground law is the only thing keeping Detroit blacks over 50 alive.

So politicians with Secret Service protection are telling the little folks how and when we can defend ourselves.

Then a baby-faced black kid will be forced to defend himself with deadly force from a white guy with a hair-lip and bad acne, and the police will have no choice but to arrest him. There will be riots demanding his release, and congress will pass a stand-your-ground act. It’s not any sort of legal principles that will determine what laws pass, just what the rioting mobs are upset about lately.

More evidence (as if any were needed) that the Federal government has become an out of control monster.

Collectivism has effectively used the 14th Amendment to trump the 10th Amendment. Any excuse to increase government regulation, control, and tyranny.

But this would make the perfect opportunity to get the states off the federal dole. Want to assert your independence, pass a SYG law and tell the fed to go f@#$ itself.

Good. No more government grants and a huge decrease in commensurate taxation. FL and states must demand such, as did our Founders.

Federal money shouldn’t be spent supporting states with laws that endanger their own people,” said Reps. Raul Grijalva of Arizona and Keith Ellison of Minnesota, the two Democrats who are offering the legislation. “This is no different than withholding transportation funds from states that don’t enforce seat-belt laws.”

Ahh, knee-jerk legislation. What could possibly go wrong?

It will fail big, and I bet a lot of Demonrats vote against it, too.

Will these same bleeding hearts do the same for the couple that were murdered in Tennessee, or the couple recently beaten in Norfolk Va?

Now we see the motive for the Trayvon Martin hoax and the attempted lynching of George Zimmerman—repealing self defense laws and declaring open season on law abiding citizens of all races.
