Dear GOP,

I have a long memory, and your Etch-a -Sketch candidate isn’t getting my vote.

I would love to hear Gov Palin at the convention and while on the podium, review what conservatives stand for, then state that the GOP has left her and does not want her vote. As such, and being a person of principles, she will aquest to the GOP wishes and will accept the VP slot of the Constitution party if offered.

FLASHBACK:

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++4 to 10 pts
in some polls, days prior to Election 2008.
So rather than helping the GOP, Romney and
TeamROMNEY and the RNME (Republican National Media Establishment)
decided …to attack Gov. Palin to throw Election2008.

Romney, and the Van der Sloot RNME RINOs for Obama in 2008

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

When Sarah tested the waters of the GOP race for 2012, the reaction of the GOP establishment was furious.

Furious? Columnists like Will and Brooks were critical, people were puzzled and troubled and curious but furious is probably going too far.

They constantly were on the lookout for a replacement to her that would diminish her clout with the conservatives, and a steady parade of pretenders were trotted out, had their moment of glory atop the polling, and then lost that glory whenever serious scrutiny came their way.

After she said she wasn't running? C'mon, everybody was looking for a decent candidate. That's where that "steady parade of pretenders" came in. But it didn't have anything to do with Palin, who chose to remain on the sidelines.

Let's repeat that: Palin chose to remain on the sidelines. Palin chose to remain on the sidelines. She didn't want it. She didn't want it. She still doesn't. She has her reasons. Why not respect her choice?

I think it is fair to sat that the GOp will never allow Palin a chance. They hate her because she is Reagan reincarnated. Maybe better. They cannot control her and she is way smarter than them, so they will do anything to make her look bad. Is it too late to get Palin on each state’s ballot before the general election? After all, they don’t know who, really, the GOP nominee is, so since that person cannot be added yet, I’d think we could do it.

Palin will have her Reagan victory in 2016, easily defeated sitting president Joe “Short Bus” Biden, Obama having been forced to resign in disgrace thanks to the numerous crimes and misdemeanors - ID theft, fraud, Fast & Furious, being a kenyan citizen by birth...”

I hope and pray Sarah Palin retained a few of her “best” advisors from the McCain debacle. Probably not many, but a few. Good on her.

I’ve never bought off on the “diva” or “unqualified” or “stupid” or other insults that have been heaped on her. And I completely understand why she resigned from the governor’s office in the face of unspeakable lawsuits and legal hassles that would have bankrupted the state just to fight, let alone win. And the state would have been obligated to cover the governor’s legal expenses, so she did the right thing by stepping down.

What’s next for Sarah Palin? I can’t wait to find out! (Anybody surprised that she hasn’t endorsed Mitt? Didn’t think so.) The fact that she’s been so quiet is good news, in my book. It means she’s got plans in the works.

The future of our nation lies with Sarah Palin. Believe it.

Can’t argue with a single word of this. Indeed, it encapsulates the reason my lifelong, exclusive support and voting record for the GOP has pretty much come to an end. I just no longer have any basic ‘trust’ in the Party anymore. The backstabbing of Palin (and quietly and not-so-quietly siding with the liberal media in its ‘wilding’ of her) was either the most massive display of disloyalty or cowardice... most likely both... that I could imagine. Proof to me that the GOP-e is pretty much in bed with the same socialist, ruling-class elitists of the Dems, ready to destroy any attempts at genuine constitutional conservatism.

Palin’s unique mix of conservatism, with its elements of reform, libertarianism, and social conservatism, fit my political/ideological/cultural views to a “t.” The first figure to come along and energize me and give me optimism for the country since the way Reagan did back in 1980. The GOP kicking her to the curb was kicking ME to the curb. If I’m alive ten/twenty/thirty years from now, this whole situation will still likely be the key political incident that forever altered my views.

Yes, I certainly agree with every word of this. Sarah Palin is a giant, and most of the other candidates are dwarfs.

I don’t know if this is still possible, or how it may come about.

But I don’t think we can afford to wait for 2016. If either Obama or Romney wins, our country will be finished.

Gay marriage, taxpayer funded abortion, all the courts tipped to liberal activist judges, economic chaos, and a national healthcare plan that will be difficult or impossible to reverse once it is in place.

And, have no fear, Romney would move to install all of that, if Obama manages to discredit himself even more to the voters.

No, I just hope and pray that Sarah has a plan. And, frankly, that God is on our side and enables us to pull victory from the jaws of defeat.

It will certainly take a new party to do it. The GOP is cooked, done, dead.

It is completely within the grasp of Sarah Palin to DESTROY the GOP.

Not hyperbole.

Not wishful thinking.

Not an exaggeration.

She absolutely could turn them into the Whig Party if she so chose to.

Their fate is in her hands.

I would be all in for Sarah Palin in a heartbeat.
