That’s what’s so funny about “independent” feminists.
They exchange dependence on a husband for dependence on government, and think themselves as “independent”.

When I heard someone read the "Life of Julia", my first thought was how this was showing the destruction of the family and with it, the special relationship that a man and a woman have within the family. I agree with Paul Ryan, it is creepy. When I was reminded that Julia was a character in 1984 it made it even more creepy!
