Joe Biden calls Mitt Romney 'President Romney'...(The box of rocks that keeps on giving...)

It’s almost become expected at this point. In the nearly four years he’s been in office, Vice President Joe Biden has awed the country with his gaffes (see here, here, and here, just to name a few). And on Sunday, he struck again.

During an interview with David Gregory on “Meet The Press,” Biden’s mind seemed otherwise occupied when it came to consistently and correctly referring to who he was talking about. For example, at one point, and much to the joy of Republicans, he referred to Mitt Romney as “President Romney.” But as if that wasn’t embarrassing enough, he couldn‘t seem to keep his own boss’s name straight: he also referred to Barack Obama as “President Clinton.”

He does serve another good purpose. If he were still a U.S. Senator, then our own Bob Casey, Jr. would only be the second dumbest male member of that body.

I believe they both grew up in Scranton, PA. Maybe it is something in the water.

Biden is the icon of our political "betters": a complete idiot who somehow, some way, somewhere, won an election, and through graft, greed, lying, and treachery became embedded in government, like a tick's head embedded in your skin, sucking away, drawing out blood and simultaneously injecting poisons.

That such an idiot has become VP is absolutely astounding. My 10 yr old son would be a better VP. Of this I have NO doubt whatsoever.

FWIW, I always thought those bison statues along the interstate on the way into Buffalo were way cool.

Plus the Buffalo area produced two of our better (and greatly underrated) presidents -- Grover Cleveland and Millard Fillmore.

Scranton, on the other hand, has produced no politician of positive note (although Casey's dad wasn't all bad), but plenty worthy of jail residence.
