Judging from what I read here, most Republicans in Free Republic will vote for Obama.

I suppose they like the status quo.

Staying home or voting for anyone but Romney pretty much assures an Obama victory.

Forward.

Testing, testing, testing (the truce, that is). Romney is running on a conservative platform. Period. Romney also is winning the nomination by avoiding the types of mistakes made by his rivals in the primaries.

The best solution may be voting GOP downticket, if you have a conservative to vote for (most do).

Romney in the White House, as I just posted, will be Zero help -- pun intentional -- and will actually do more damage than Obama, because Romney would be the titular leader of the GOP and would define all issues and platform planks. He could -- and will -- deliberately push the Tea Party into a corner, because RiNO's hate their own base. They hate our guts. Start latching onto that fact and getting your mind around it.

With Willard the nominee, the only way out of our jam is to get a 2/3's majority in the Senate in this rare opportunity to do so -- and use it to drag Obama out of the White House by impeachment and conviction. Even if some RiNO senators refuse to vote for Obama, even if you get another Democratic party-line vote to sustain him, you will damage them and their party with the People, you will defeat the Media filters and be able to lay your case directly before the People, whose attention you will have for a change without 'Rat-B*stard Press intermediation.

In fact, I've made the case in this space for the political utility of impeaching AG Holder now, and forcing the Senate Democrats to vote down the line for him this fall, with us looking down their throats. Talk about defining some issues and hanging them around the 'Rats' necks -- but again, the RiNOs are playing to lose and are more interested in screwing us than working against the Democrats.

Voting for ANYBODY BUT obama (ABO)... IS voting for ANYBODY but obama... there is only one truth and you just read it.

Venturer: “Judging from what I read here, most Republicans in Free Republic will vote for Obama.”

I thought FReepers were on a truce. I won’t question your conservative principles when you vote for Mitt Romney, a Democrat in all but party affiliation, and you shouldn’t accuse me of being an Obama supporter if I refuse to vote for Romney.

Seriously. It doesn’t matter how much you try to pull Romney over the finish line. He either has it or not, just like McCain. All the cheer leading and cajoling in the world won’t fix Mitt, and insulting fellow conservatives (as Obama supporters) isn’t going to help your cause.

It is a vain, gutless, blubbering disgrace around here.

If Ronald Reagan, George Patton, or Winston Churchill were here they'd be slapping tear-streaked faces right and left.

I'm not a Republican.

“Judging from what I read here, most Republicans in Free Republic will vote for Obama.”

I personally regard defeat of Barry to by my #1 priority, but your comment above appears to be a violation of the spirit of the “TRUCE” declared by JimRob.

JimRob has suspended his previous stance that he would actively oppose a Romney win and has stopped dis-inviting ABO FReepers from being members of FR and also has stopped insinuating that ABO FReepers must be RINO’s or worse.

In return, I would respectfully request that ABO FReepers refrain from insinuating that FUMR FReepers are “voting FOR Obama” as this is false and insulting in the extreme.

Please visit JR’s TRUCE thread here:

“Frank discussion re our loss to Obama/Romney and the future direction of FR and tea party movement”

Also please check out my thread inviting ABO FReepers to resume DONATION in view of JR’s TRUCE announcement:

“Are you an ABO like me PO’d at JR for getting called a RINO? Truce declared! Please DONATE!”
