Romney is, of course, a very competitive guy and having been groomed for this for years is going to do whatever it takes not to go down in flames as a failed president. His first term will be all about the economy and if making alliances with the strongest blocs in Congress is what it takes, we only need to make sure that the keepers of the flame are principled Conservative hands.
Your definition of success, and that of Romney and Obama, are on opposite ends of the spectrum, my friend.
Obama's been a smashing success, and so will Romney.
