As I’ve stated many times, I am biased toward God. I’m not a theologist, or a bible scholar, or even a great church-going Christian, but I was raised in a Christian family and I am a believer in the one true God. I believe “the Creator” who gave us life and unalienable rights is our Christian God, sometimes referred to as the Judeo-Christian God. I am not a preacher and do not try to convert anyone. I simply believe that our nation was founded by believers and our system of governance and law is based on biblical belief and that our form of government will not work under any other set of beliefs. I believe this country was better and freer in the days of our youth, before the war on Christianity was launched by non-believers and before our government representatives lost sight of and denied God. I believe we will never restore the constitutional limits on government or our unalienable rights until we once again allow God back into the public square and back into our hearts.

When I first started FR, we immediately came under attack by atheists, trolls and malcontents, who in many cases attacked us on our religious beliefs, so when I established the first set of rules for forum conduct, I included “No religious bigotry.” Didn’t realize at the time that I would’ve had to qualify that as “no anti-Christian bigotry” but that’s the way it is. I am definitely biased toward God and Christianity. Obviously, I also support Israel, the Jewish people and the Jewish Nation.

As I’ve posted many times and will re-post here for anyone who missed it:

As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our BORDERS, our constitution and our national sovereignty.

Free Republic is private property. It is not a government project, nor is it funded by government or taxpayer money. We are not a publicly owned entity nor are we an IRS tax-free non-profit organization. We pay all applicable taxes on our income. We are not connected to or funded by any political party, news agency, or any other entity. We sell no merchandise, product or service, and we offer no subscriptions or paid memberships. We accept no paid advertising or promotions. We are funded solely by donations (non tax deductible gifts) from our readers and participants.

We aggressively defend our God-given and first amendment guaranteed rights to free speech, free press, free religion, and FREEDOM of ASSOCIATION, as well as our constitutional right to control the use and content of our own personal private property. Despite the wailing of the liberal trolls and other doom & gloom naysayers, we feel no compelling need to allow them a platform to promote their repugnant and obnoxious propaganda from our forum. Free Republic is NOT a liberal debating society. We are conservative activists dedicated to defending our GOD-GIVEN rights, defending our constitution, defending our republic and defending our traditional American way of Life.

Our God-given Life, Liberty and freedoms are NOT negotiable!!

For God, Family, Country, Life and Liberty!!

If you cannot live with the above, fine, but keep your mouth shut about it while on FR. Don’t fight against us on ANY of our deeply held beliefs!!

DON’T TREAD ON ME!!

Anti-Life, anti-Liberty trolls will be ZOT on sight or at the convenience of the site administrators!!

I’m just your average liberty-loving American tea party patriot, bitterly clinging to my God, my bible and my guns!!

Jim I just wanted to express the fact that were I in your position, I could have written exactly what you have here. Where applicable, it expresses my views precisely. Since I am not the administrator of this site, I cannot claim that you speak for me there. I can say I agree with the ideals you set down here related to management of the forum.

Of particular importance to me, is this included in your commnets: I simply believe that our nation was founded by believers and our system of governance and law is based on biblical belief and that our form of government will not work under any other set of beliefs. I believe this country was better and freer in the days of our youth, before the war on Christianity was launched by non-believers and before our government representatives lost sight of and denied God. I believe we will never restore the constitutional limits on government or our unalienable rights until we once again allow God back into the public square and back into our hearts.

I don't believe enough men of good-will completely comprehend the importance of what I quoted above.

When George Bush talked of 'Democracies' popping up across the Middle-East, he didn't realize he should have been hawking 'Constitutional Republics' instead. In addition, it is vitally important that people understand that our forum of government will not work in societies where Christianity is not the prevailing religion.

Take a look at Islam for instance. If the society is predominantly Islamic, then Islamic ideals will be the bedrock of the founding documents of the nation. That being the case, no peace, no ability to co-exist will exist.

If people would take this concept, expand it, and understand how crucial the Christian God is to our form of governance and society, I think it might open their eyes.

Great point on your part, perhaps the greatest most fundamental point possible.

I’m with you brother!

Thanks for creating a home were we can debate social, Government and religious issues.

Obviously there are many subjects we cover here but it is a safe place to argue, exchange ideas or organize.

And I appreciate an environment were we can be Christians without persecution.

Well, I happen to also be a believer in God, so count me in. Thanks for your considerate reply.

You couldn’t be clearer.

Can’t figure how it still escapes some.

Thanks and God Bless you and FR.
