Live or Memorex?
Can you tell?
Is this week some sort of Jewish holiday?
Both Savage and Levin are off.
Both Levin and Savage recharging their batteries?
BTW one of my (new) favorites has a strange twist.. I listen to him delayed over the Internet. It sounded like the prior day's show so I prepared to change to the correct download.. but it was not yesterday's show. It was yesterday's topics being covered again today. A live "best of." No show prep for today's show? :)
I’m listening to my back up conservative now and on the weekends when there is a desert of conservative talk radio.

Holocaust Remembrance Week at W&L
Posted on April 26, 2012 by Julie Cline
Jay M. Ipson, Holocaust Survivor and Executive Director of the Virginia Holocaust Museum
Washington and Lee University will observe Holocaust Remembrance Week April 26 through May 3 with a variety of activities beginning with a vigil and featuring several films, a trip to the Holocaust Museum in Washington, and a talk by Holocaust survivor Jay M. Ipson.
I get to listen to Joe Pags on the weekend, if no baseball games interfere.
Thanks for the link. I return the favor, Ms Simpson is live west coast time
Saturday: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Sunday: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Well, I’m Jewish and we have so many holidays as it is. And we could still use another, a holiday from the holiday.
I kinda pulled my own Savage move going from California to Florida about 2 weeks ago. I worried about missing Doc only to hear he’s cranking Memorex full blast.
I came back yesterday. I never really got into Life Coach, yet I’d like to know what’s his cure for bicoastal jet lag.
He’s so right about those nonstop ranting yente’s in retirement communities. My mother feels like she’s in prison, having bought into the “55 and over Active Community” marketing schpiel in North Broward. We did check into a good Italian restaurant on Federal Highway named Brusco’s (great recovery with meatballs and red wine!)
Let’s hope Savage returns after crossing paths with illegals this Cinco de Mayo.
I thought Gov. Brown had put up a fence to keep you residents from fleeing just as Gov. Quinn here in Illinois will be doing any day now...........
Well, I didn’t quite flee, I did come back to “the belly of the beast” as some call it. (I’m 10 miles northeast of the capitol.)
It’s also my understanding that even if you leave California and retire elsewhere, you still get charged state income tax. I’m not sure how true that is, yet I really dread it if it is.
“BTW one of my (new) favorites has a strange twist”
who is it??
:)
I just remembered there’s another well known Holocaust memorial in Miami Beach. It’s a big green decaying hand.
I think it was erected very close to the time I moved from Atlantic to Pacific. The controversy at the time was about making something that looked so dreadful vs. making something to assure we’d never forget.
Jewish life is all about conflict. If you want a good time at a Jewish party, make sure everybody’s arguing. (Otherwise, it’s boring . . . that’s an old Jewish joke, BTW.)
He's outspoken in the manner of Savage and Levin. That's good. He is entertaining and has a staff that reminds me of Imus' staff and their antics remind me of Ingraham's original staff that had me laughing much of the time. (They are not that good yet.)
However.. I am disappointed that a caller hinted at questions surrounding Obama's eligibility and he terminated the call and insulted the caller's intelligence.
His name is Andy Dean.
One other piece of trivia . . .
that Holocaust Memorial is located at 1933 - 1945 Meridian Avenue. Those are also the years all that devastation took place. (Such coincidences keep us up at night.)
Jewish culture is immersed with numerology meets symbolism, letters are numbers and vice versa. (I only thought of this today . . . I wonder if that Numbers Guy who calls Savage knows about this.)
Thanks WOC I’ll listen !
