OHARA, Pa. Tagg Romney, the eldest son of presidential candidate Mitt Romney, announced via Twitter that he and his wife Jen have new twin boys, delivered by a surrogate today.
Happy 2 announce birth of twin boys David Mitt and William Ryder. Big thanks to our surrogate. Life is a miracle, Tagg tweeting, linking to a photo of himself and one of his new sons.
This the second time that Tagg, 42, and his wife, Jen,39, have used a surrogate. The same surrogate was used for the twins carried their youngest son Jonathan, who was born in August of 2010. Their other three children were not born via surrogacy.

Kind of like the way his father Willard got the [R] nomination through “surrogates” (attacking the real Conservatives).
“No way this granddad is going to stand up for traditional family values. Not gonna happen.”
Are you saying that because Mitt Romney’s son had children via surrogate, MR will not stand for traditional values? What does using a surrogate cause someone to not have traditional family values??
MR doesn’t have traditional family values, but that has NOTHING to do with his son using a surrogate.
this is cool. progressive. but spending time with your deceased infant is weird; especially to a society that kills them for profit.
Even though a couple was recently reported to have gone to a morgue to view their deceased baby one last time and instead found the child to be alive.
some consider the idea a bit non-traditional.
Abort. Abort. Abort.... oh wait, too late. Or, is it? hmm
Just as Sarah Palin isn’t going to stand up for traditional family values after her teenaged daughter became pregnant out of wedlock?
Using a surrogate to bring children into the world...evil bastards!!!
Don’t forget paying off the surrogates. Basically, purchasing the baby!
Unless surrogate is code for sister wife.
Or maybe they just have so much money they don't want to bother with actually being pregnant.
Triple evil bastards!!!
So are heart transplants and organ donations and every other type of modern medicine breakthroughs.
The difference is that there is a traditional way to have babies. There is no traditional ways to have heart transplant and organ donations.
Just as Sarah Palin isnt going to stand up for traditional family values after her teenaged daughter became pregnant out of wedlock?
Good for you SuzyQue.
I can’t stand “pious’ jerks.
“The difference is that there is a traditional way to have babies.”
Next, you’ll be saying that only children conceived using the missionary position should be allowed to live. Sheesh.
I think John and Elizabeth Edwards might have avoided a lot of very ugly publicity if they had just claimed that Johnny’s last child was born by a “surrogate” for them. Aside from DNA tests (which can’t be compelled), how does an outsider know that a couple’s “birth by a surrogate” is not in fact just the product of the husband’s extramarital affair?
Wow. You ever do it other than the Missionary Position?
Two children are born, and most here are spewing hate...lovely.
