INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Republican Sen. Richard Lugar is asking Democrats and independents to cross party lines and save him next week in the political fight of his life.
The six-term senator said Friday he needs votes from outside his own party if he is to survive Tuesday's GOP primary. Recent polling has shown Lugar trailing tea party-backed state Treasurer Richard Mourdock.
Lugar told reporters he is best suited to represent Jewish and female Hoosiers along with ethnic minorities.

Lugar? You must be nuts ( like Peggy Noonan)! It’s thinking like this that has resulted in worthless a$$holes like Lugar overstaying their welcome for at least 25 years. It’s bad enough that Lugar has screwed the State of Indiana, but he’s been screwing the whole country for a generation. I just hope that the voters in Utah don’t think like you and kick that other pud, Urine Hatch out at the same time!

Indeed, it reminds me of the Taqqiah islamic game. First they come pretending they are capitalists when in fact they are into hunger games and want to ransack the whole place, because they are too incompetent... until they find the hard way that they will lose at those games, so they set it up long long term.
I think Lugar is moling himself or coming out of the closet ever so shyly as it has happened ever since the 911 defeatism and stuff. .
