A rough transcription-
CBS Interviewer - "You're not exactly a moderate."
Nugent - "I offer you this. Have you done a lot of interviews?"
CBS Interviewer - "A decent number."
Nugent - "When you find someone that does more for charity, more for dying kids... than I do, call me. And I'll suck your ****!"

Afterwards, the interviewer was talking to Charlie Rose and said he had "no idea" what cause Ted to go off like that. Well, maybe, just maybe, it's because we (consevatives) are tired as hell of being labled by the MSM as "extreme," which is really what the interviewer was implying in his "you're not exactly moderate" comment.
It is truely sad that defending and protecting the Constitution and individual freedom and liberty has come to be viewed as "extreme." This is NOT the country my father fought in WWII and Vietnam, and I served 24 years for!

Yeah, but afterwards his wife told him to apologize. I know I’ll probably get some flack for saying this but a good woman tends to civilize a good man. It’s how it is.

How many times must one be called “extreme” for defending freedom and individual liberty before it is ok to finally snap? The MSM continually pokes their collective bony fingers in the chests of conservatives and either implies they are extreme or worse (racist). Then, when one of us has had their fill and snaps it’s a big story! How many liberals have snapped at much less provocation? It’s only a story when a conservative finally loses it.
