the socially liberal Ron Paul

I don't believe Ron Paul is as socially liberal as Romney. Candidates (especially at the national level) are not responsible for the shenanigans of their supporters.

Please explain why you consider Ron Paul a POS. He's a believer in the Constitution, has read, understands and supports the Federalist Papers. He is a defender of individual liberty. Can you say all of those things about Romney? And, as an obstetrician, Ron Paul, is PRO-Life. He would never make any deals with PP.

Also, the biggest problem with Romney is that he has no core beliefs. The exact opposite is true with Ron Paul. He has consistently espoused and upheld Constitutional principles the entire time he's been in public service.

If Romney cared about the republic he would have not run for the Presidency. Being a mAasshole should eliminate someone from national office out of hand. Romney knows damn well his candidacy is turning the Republican Party inside out and into the whig Party. Curse him and all RINO’s.

Paul is a POS because he is NOT pro-life. He does not support the rights of the unborn on a Federal level. He is content to leave that up to the states. If a state were to adopt a pro-death position? Paul would have NO PROBLEM with that. Unacceptable. We need a conservative who knows the sanctity of life is a National concern and our US Constitution already affords rights to the unborn, but still we need another amendment SPECIFICALLY outlining those rights.

Paul is opposed to that.

And your other comments on his Libertarian bona fides are typical clap-trap liberalistic blah-blah blah. RoPaul is a Liberal no matter how many times he wraps himself up in the Constitution.

“the socially liberal Ron Paul”
“I don’t believe Ron Paul is as socially liberal as Romney. “

Ron Paul supports the destruction of marriage in toto. This position is more radical and dangerous by far than ‘gay marriage’, and yet Romney is attacked on FR for not stopping gay marriage in Mass (even though he never supported what the Mass SCOTUS did to create it).

Ron Paul supports drug legalization. social liberal.

Romney and Ron Paul have the same positions on abortion/life, and neither have been leaders on that issue.

Ron Paul took earmarks, so this ‘principles’ stuff is good PR on his part but not his real record.
