Didn’t Barry and the ‘RATS just give the Soviet Socialist State of Oregon $40 million bucks to start a new program where anyone who shows up can have all the food stamps they want with no questions asked? No pesky applications or interviews?

Obama administration has promised 1.5b to Oregon. How nice of them. I wonder how they are going to do this without Congress appropriating the money for this through the budget process.

The Obama administration is buying into an ambitious health care initiative in Oregon, announcing Thursday it has tentatively agreed to chip in $1.9 billion over five years to help get the program off the ground.

The hand that rocks the cradle, rules the world.

The point, proponents say, is to provide money for services that keep people healthy but don't get much funding - such as paying caseworkers to make sure patients go to medical appointments and take their medications.

Imagine having a government bureaucrat nagging you to go to your doctor appointments and calling to remind you to take your meds. It's typical leftism and assumes the costs of the additional employees will be outweighed by future reductions in care.

Reductions which can never be proven.
