This absolutely should be in Breaking.

Even just this threat will have a long term effect on U.S. - European relations, the French election, bringing Poland, et. al. back into the New Soviet Sphere, etc.

Even the Chinese and Indians will ask, “are we next.”

This is a very major power play by Putin and very serious. This is a new Cold War. Khrushchev backed down in 61 in Cuba, (to some extent.) This is potentially as serious, geo-politically, as that.

Agreed. This is serious. Russia's threat and somewhere I read that negotiations were going on between Iran and Venezuela to get missiles based in Venezuela. We all know Russia has been feeding their ally Iran technology...

We're ripe for an attack on both foreign soils and here.

0bama does not pull a world leader position of respect. Which, I do find interesting in some regards as 0bama has no problem sending in drones and navy seals to assassinate enemies. And he didn't hesitate with Syrian support either...so he may be more hawkish on the record than we give him credit for.

Can't believe I just wrote that, but going into Pakistan, droning in Yemen, Syrian support...but then we do have the Muslim Brotherhood here in negotiations at the White House?
