Questions raised over Virginia newspaper's delay in report of attack on reporters (hate crime)

The Virginian-Pilot newspaper of Norfolk, Va., waited two weeks before reporting that two white reporters were beaten by a group of young black men.

And since the story came out, the city’s police department has defended its handling of the case.

Columnist Michelle Washington broke the news of the April 14 attack on reporters Dave Forster and Marjon Rostami in the May 1 edition of the newspaper.

“Wave after wave of young men surged forward to take turns punching and kicking their victim,” Washington wrote.

Washington and a police report obtained by NBC station WAVY indicate the reporters were driving away after attending a rock concert at the Attucks Theater. When they stopped at a red light among a crowd of about 100 people, Rostami locked her car door. Someone threw a rock at her window.

The next day, Forster searched Twitter for mention of the attack. One post chilled him. "I feel for the white man who got beat up at the light," wrote one person. "I don't," wrote another, indicating laughter. "(do it for trayvon martin)" Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black teen, died after being shot by a community watch captain with white and Hispanic parents, George Zimmerman, in Florida.

Forster and Rostami, both white, suffered a beating at the hands of a crowd of black teenagers.

Was either case racially motivated? Were Forster and Rostami beaten in some kind of warped, vigilante retribution for a killing 750 miles away, a person none of them knew? Was it just bombast? Is a beating funny, ever? Here's why their story is in the paper today. We cannot allow such callousness to continue unremarked, from the irrational, senseless teenagers who attacked two people just trying to go home, from the police officer whose conduct may have been typical but certainly seems cold, from the tweeting nitwits who think beating a man in Norfolk will change the death of Trayvon Martin. How can we change it if we don't know about it? How can we make it better if we look away? Are we really no better than this?

So the female reporter started the violence by locking her door, which clearly triggered a mass case of justifiable black rage.

I fully expect the Virginian Pilot to apologize for its racist coverage, which was actually non-coverage, within a week.

We are all God's children, and no man is an island. In my response to this thread, I will use the word "blacks" in a sweeping way because we what we are discussing here is a cultural problem that has infested a majority of American blacks. To those who would argue otherwise, I point to the 96% of the black vote that was given to Barack Hussein Obama.

The "Traayyyyvonn Jusssticcceee" hiss coming from the usual suspects (Obama, the Liberal Media, Democrats, Race Hustlers, Racist Blacks) is having one unforeseen and profound effect.

It is serving to wake the nation up to the horror we have created by rewarding, promoting, and celebrating a "American Black Culture" that is, in of and by itself, un-Godly and evil.

For decades, any criticism of black culture, and any promotion of facts regarding its destructiveness and insidious nature has been branded "racist" and immediately has been shouted down. The suppression of legitimate criticism has been almost completely suppressed.

What Americans must realize is that generations of blacks have been effectively propagandized to hate. Just as Palestinian children are indoctrinated with hateful resentment at a very early age, so have American blacks been taught to hate, to resent, and to lash out with violence.

John McWhorter is a brilliant man. He speaks several languages, has written books, and has been a professor. Moreover, one of his earliest memories was of being pummeled as a very young boy because he properly spelled the word "concrete" in response to a challenge giddy and violent black neighborhood children.

McWhorter has spoken the truth, and has been demonized for it.

It is high time Americans wake up to the fact that for literally millions of their fellow citizens who are black, the "black culture" serves up a poison stew of malice, ignorance, and unrighteous indignation.

Among the venom of "black culture" pointed out by McWhorter and others. No group is monolithic, and the points mentioned below are not intended to be accepted as such. However, the word "many" or "most" accurately serves as a useful descriptor: - blacks dismiss school achievement as a "white thing

- sexual immorality is rampant

- racism (hatred of other races) is encouraged, taught, and rewarded

- blacks have rejected the moral authority of God that in past was the key to their victories, and have replaced Him with self pride and debauchery

- blacks blame every small setback and annoyance of life on "inherent racism" and have unburdened themselves from every aspect of personal responsibility

- robbery, rape, mutilation, vandalism, and every type of malice is rampant in among the 'black community'

Until American blacks as a community reject the ghetto culture that Satan has trapped them in, they will never rise to the work that Christ has ordained for them.

So now we know - if blacks throw rocks at our cars we are to do nothing or we deserve to be beat up.

If part of a community watch group - we can't follow or look at someone suspicious if they're black.

This is so stupid.

The cop who came up with this stuff about "it's the white man's fault for objecting to having his car hit with rocks" - needs to be fired. His job is to enforce the law - not offer excuses for thugslites.
