Poor Obama. He can't help himself as he is a compulsive liar. He doesn't even know who he is and we've elected him to sit in the White Hut's Oval Orifice to act presidential.

Poor America. This marxist fool can accomplish much between now and January 2013.

The one million ton gorilla in the room is never addressed.

Let's stop comparing a real substance - gasoline with an artificial one - paper money.

When you want to see what has really happened compare a real substance with another real substance. Let's use the price of gasoline and the price of gold; one a commodity and the other a form of currency.

Let's look at the historical relationships between gold and gas prices. In 1980 a gallon of gas cost a dollar(http://www.randomuseless.info/gasprice/gasprice.html) roughly 20-25 percent of today's costs. At the same time an ounce of gold was around 400 dollars an ounce (http://goldprice.org/gold-price-history.html) about 24 percent of today's cost. What has changed in 32 years when you compare a commodity to another commodity??

What we have lost is the purchasing power of the dollar through government actions.

This is one million ton gorilla in the room is never addressed that no professional politician wants to discuss but "We, the people.." have to deal with every day.
