I HATE Romney because of his liberalism. I don’t TRUST Romney because of his Mormonism. I know way too much about it to ever do that.

We disagree. As a citizen of Massachusetts, I voted for Romney for governor because I absolutely detest the left-progressive "machine" that has run this state for decades, hoping for an improvement over the status quo. On that basis, he was no "liberal" in my view then.

As to your second point, it strikes me as pure bigotry. And I think you should be ashamed of yourself.

Then you’ll agree that Willie Mitty anmd all the other 52,000 Mormon missionaries should be ashamed of themselves for being bigoted against Christians and harrassing us in our own homes to give up the LORD jesus Chrsit and become Mormons ...

I just know you feel that way dont you ???

Youre not bigoted yourself against Chrsitians now are you ???

Well you do see that Reaganaut is justified in her feelings ...

Shes not bigoted at all...

Careful, betty, you are bringing actual experiences you had while in Mass...things you saw, heard and experienced with Romney as Governor vs the DNC machine that was there...into the discussion.

You probably have a lot more knowledge about how Romney governed than most here unless they too lived through it...perhaps like how he was really incapable of appointing conservative Judges since the DNC panel there had all the power.

You are probably aware of his attempts to veto things he is accused of “allowing” because the overwhelming DNC legislature over-rode any attmepts.

We both know that Romney was no real conservative in his governance of Mass...but he was better than the alternatives, and IMHO, he did modify and lessen what would have been even worse there. But that is my opinion...I wasn’t there.

You experienced it, so you know it better than others who prognosticate without having been there with you.

I believe you...and I know of your conservatism, and, despite our differences in some interpretations and doctrine, I know of your Christianity and love for and commitment to our Savior, Jesus Christ. After fourteen years of interaction with you, I can say I have experienced those things as we have conversed over the years. Thank you for sharing what you exprienced there while Romney was Governor.

We all wish a more conservative candidate was going to be our nomineee...but Romney is running on much diffent campaign promises now than what he did in Mass, and I believe he will keep those commitments if elected...particularly if we can pull together a majority House and Senate to lead the charge in legislation.

God bless you, sister in Christ, for your faith, for your patriotism and commmitment to our constitutional republic, for your honesty, and for the reasoned and manner in which you present it.

We can do all in our power to try and do what is right to the best of our ability in the defense of liberty and support of our constitution, which it truly an inspired document and heavenly banner...and do it all according to the dictates of our conscience...then we must stand an watch the arm of the Lord be revealed and accept His wisdom. He has the days numbered, and the hairs on each of our heads counted, and His Will shall lead to the best.

I pray, in Jesus name, that we as a people and a nation are once again extended His mercy, compassion and blessings of liberty and prosperity for our kids and grandkids sake. That they might enjoy what we have enjoyed, and even more according to His Will.

I don’t consider reaganaut a bigot AT ALL for asserting that Mormonism is a cult. He’s merely making an accurate observation.

I have observed that all cults have at least one if not both of the following in common:

1. neutering, qualifying, dismissing, explaining away, watering down the Deity of Jesus The Christ; Son of Almighty God; etc.

2. Salvation by works.

Mormonism qualifies as a cult on both counts.

yet he ran MASS as being a liberal.

My second statement isn’t bigotry, it is fact and stems from YEARS of experience. I used to be Mormon, a true believing temple (elite) Mormon just like Mitt and Ann Romney. My experience has taught me to not trust Mormons, especially Mormon royalty like Mitt, to tell the truth to ‘gentiles’ (all non Mormons - even Jews). They lie to their own members, of course they lie to lowly ‘gentiles’ (a derrogetory term for non Mormons). You can think I should be ashamed of myself, but I lived Mormonism and lived it well. I speak from experience.

Are you or have you ever been LDS? If so, then your statement is understandable, if incorrect. If not, then don’t make assumptions about them based upon PR or a few casual acquaintances. Reality in Mormonism is vastly different (and much more liberal) than their PR machine puts forth.

IIRC when Romney ran for Senate, he ran to the LEFT of Ted Kennedy. Romney is merely a pale version of Obama. Obama may actually pretend to be more Conservative than Romney once the election cycle begins. Obama is trying to compare himself with Reagan. Obama and Romney will be fighting each other for the progressive liberal votes.

A pox on both their houses. Virgil Goode for President. A true conservative. Accept no fraudulent substitutes.
