The actual Republican Establishment political consultants, The Wall Street Journal, corporate America, former Bush advisers and television pundits are exhorting Mitt Romney to flip-flop on his very non-Establishment position on illegal immigration.
Both as governor of Massachusetts and as a presidential candidate, Romney has supported a fence on the border, E-Verify to ensure that employees are legal and allowing state police to arrest illegal aliens. He is the rare Republican who recognizes that in-state tuition, drivers licenses and amnesty are magnets for more illegal immigration.

Not voting for Romney doesn’t mean staying home. If there is a conservative on the pres ticket I can vote for that if not there is a lot more to the ballot than the pres slot.
Mitt’s record on nominating judges in Mass is far-left.
I think I will post my copies of her books on Amazon for FREE... just pay the postage. Bet no one will buy it.
I think you are full of it.... and should have at least pinged JimRob since you decided to post in re: the demise of FR.
Goodby
Well, bye.
Of course it is, otherwise my post would have been senseless. GWB was FORCED into giving us a conservative, which is what I would propose we FORCE Mitt to do. Obama cannot be forced, because he is not a Republican.
Who is going to force Mitt? Boehner?
Really, and if I go to the Southern Poverty Law Center website, it will probably have a nice lawyer sitting at his desk surrounded by laws and such to. But if I look closer I will find that the SPLC takes a whole lot out of context, in order to paint me and you as right wing nutjobs that want to beat up gays, blacks, and our mothers. Like I said, if a site, or a group wants to be taken seriously, tell me who is funding it. There are billions of sites on the internet, and many of the political ones are fraudulent fakes funded by soros, etc. Do your research on many sites, not just one that might have an agenda. who you vote for is up to you, but do it based on your own research, not what others tell you to think. That is what dems do, we are smarter than that.
well, bye already
How about the conservatives who replace Lugar and Hatch. Which is why we need to make sure that happens.
Or I guess we could just give up.
I consider a vote for Romney caving in.
Why not Dick Cheney? Seriously.
I don't care. There is one important goal: preserving the principles as set forth in the Declaration of Independence and implemented with the Constitution. Tactics and strategies have to be developed that squarely face the realities that we are confronted with. That reality is that it will be Romney or Obama. You can vote for one, the other or neither. The question is under which regime will we be better able to further our cause, and the answer to that needs to be backed up by reason: "Reason, cold, calculating, unimpassioned reason, must furnish all the materials for our future support and defense"
Ann ‘stuck on stupid’ - or what? More like; she thinks Conservative Repubs are. . .
LOL Yep, that’s what I’m thinking as well. At 30 yeas old and still not married? Maybe it’s true maybe not...At 40? Ok, maybe it’s true...At 50? Oh yeah, definately. That girl prefers taco to hotdog.
Coulter now LIES like the LIAR Bishop Romney.
Romney HELPED the illegal aliens in Massachusetts,
even setting up a sanctuary in Belmont
WHERE THEY WORKED FOR ROMNEY.
Romney is a two-faced liar, only loved by Coulter
because they both support Obama and Soros.
