How can we change it if we don't know about it? How can we make it better if we look away? From the newspaper where the couple worked.
Well, it happened. It's done. Two whites were beaten by a group of blacks. Again.
I am glad it happened to employees of the newspaper. Else the entire news items would have been a couple of lines.. possibly implying that the white couple were stalking the 100 black children. . . .
I recall one incident in Sacramento.. a Sacramento Bee ("newspaper") was attacked and almost killed while on assignment in a black neighborhood. Here.
This link says that the Bee covered the story. Well.. I remember that it took them a while to tell the WHOLE story. And no doubt that had it not been a newspaper employee there would have been no story at all -- beyond "man injured in confrontation, police investigating."

Well, it happened. It's done. Two whites were beaten by a group of blacks. Again. The restraint on the part of whites has an expiration date. No one knows exactly what that is.
