Colin Powell is a natural Democrat. The only reason he was registered Republican those years in the military and public service was personal career advancement. He was a uniformed version of Arlen Spector.

This might be a signal of less enthusiasm than in 2008. I find it curious this former diplomat broke protocol and used "Mr. Romney" rather than "Gov. Romney." I take that as a signal that he's leaning towards Obama. Again.

Listening to them? Talk is cheap, General, how about judging from their actions?

Maybe if Romney turns Black all of a sudden ....
The ONLY reason Powell went for Obama, was because of race. That’s all Obama had to offer. No experience, more abstainance from voting than voting, and a mouth that promised things that he had no clue on how to deliver.

Powell would have spent his military career as a mess cook except for affirmative action.
He’s not content with the damage he did to the country as Secretary of State in the Bush administration.
Dubya might have trusted him but I never did and he has proved me right.

Well he didn’t support Newt and his mo is not doing the right thing for America anyway - now he is in his glory - he has two liberals to pick from.

Like there’s any doubt who he’ll vote for. (Or is it whom?)

All you need to know about Powell is what David Hackworth thought of him. Perfumed prince. A natural Democrat.

Only to the extent that it’s interesting (and a bit humorous) that the consummate ‘Washington Insider With a Uniform’ can’t find enough difference between ‘em to make a choice...

Powell is hoping to stay relevant by making us hang on his eventual endorsement. He helped bring in the pestilence. I would hope he knows that and admits today that his support of 0 was a catastrophic error.

There is no mystery. Powell will choose race over ideology and everyone knows it.

No, I don’t care what Colin Powell thinks other than his indecision proves that there is no difference between the kenyan and Romney.
